Hurricane Harvey made landfall near Rockport TX about 10:00PM CDT Friday night. Top sustained winds were 130mph. Rockport High School sustained heavy damage when a portion of the roof collapsed. A senior housing complex collapsed. The Rockport courthouse sustained major damage with “a cargo trailer halfway in the building.” Multiple tornadoes reported in the Houston/Galveston areas. There are reports of scattered structural fires and a shooting was reported in Corpus Christi. Residents along the San Bernard River were advised to evacuate and most TX Gulf coast counties are under flash flood watches.
Many locations are under a boil-water notice. Power outages are widespread. President Donald Trump promptly granted a Disaster Declaration to Texas Governor Greg Abbott’s request. More than 700 members of the Texas Army and Air National Guards, Texas State Guard and the Texas Military Department have been activated and are positioning themselves throughout the state ahead of Hurricane Harvey and its anticipated landfall later this week. Ahead of the storm, FEMA sent supplies from its warehouse in Fort Worth to a staging point at Randolph Air Force Base near San Antonio.

One would think if such a rescue did occur there would be more than just a listing of the place. However they likely evacuated them early on if the area was in danger of flooding.
most family members certainly would have made certain of that beforehand.
Someone raised an interesting question Friday.
What do they do with people in prisons when these things Occur?
There must be an evacuation plan.

It seems the purpose of the twitter post was to bash Trump for not rescuing little old ladies who were on the verge of drowning. Several comments to that effect. Just furthering the anti-Trump meme.

I was on that the other day....Around 4,500 inmates at three Texas prisons were evacuated...
Multiple prisons were evacuated prior to Harvey landfall. Well documented reports with photos Friday.
In NOLA they just let ‘em out to fend for themselves.

I’ve accidently shorted out wall switches just by spraying cleaner on the switch plates.
The prison evac plans were very detailed and scripted. Same for parolees and high risk parolees to check in. No visitors allowed while evacuated, but the prisoners could call home.

You can always tell when kids get out of school! or it's time mommy is calling the for dinner....the rhythm of twitter changes dramatically. I always check the ID next to their post....often tells if one should take their posts serious or not..best to stick with news sources or those you're acquainted with....everything else is risky.

I just never thought of it before because i’m not involved but there has to be a plan LOL
Anytime prisoners are evacuated you can be assured you better get out as well! It's a lengthy process and the decision to do so is never made lightly unless there is real danger from the elements.
