Energy Transfer Partners, the developer behind the Dakota Access Pipeline, has sued Greenpeace and several other groups for what it calls a campaigns of misinformation. ETP argues in the lawsuit filed Tuesday that environmental groups are running a racket designed to raise money by emotionalizing issues. ETPs press release is here but it actually tones down the language of the court filing a bit.

Exactly what we should be doing. Throw the left’s tactics back in their face. Rule for Radicals can be applied both ways. BLM and antiFA should be called exactly what they are: racists and communists.
Also terrorists. Private law suits like this one were and are some of the most effective weapons against the Klan. They’ve usually not been used against leftist terrorism. Indeed, this is the largest, apparently best financed one I’ve seen.
“Running a racket designed to raise money by emotionalizing issues”.
That is the democrat-taliban party playbook.
Fighting back costs money. Few can afford it. The Parks service, which has used photography and statistics to measure crowds for decades no longer does so. Luis Farakahn sued when they reported his million man march was about 120k. They didn’t have the money so the service changed the count to a million and then stopped counting. Once you start a lawsuit, the only way to limit the cost is to settle out of court. It sucks, but that’s reality.
Of course, that's a sad reality of our civil court system. However, the mega companies have the funds to force the commies like greenpeace to settle, also. It goes both ways.
Energy Transfer Partners has the deep pockets to take Greenpeace to hell.
The anti whalers were CONVICTED of high seas piracy.
The pipline is on solid legal ground.
The term used before is lawfare.
I know people who were paid, fed and bused in from Minneapolis for these “protests”
They were told they were protecting the rights of Native Americans.
“I know people who were paid, fed and bused in from Minneapolis for these protests

And when the paid protesters arrived they were told to go home by the tribal leaders, whom they promptly ignored.
Terrorism? Hope they get them on that, for it was just that. They should sue the city/county too for not trying to stop them and not dismissing the tent city... as those terrorist caused so much pollution it had to be bulldozed away.
