Fake news. With overtime, the agents are hitting the upper annual salary cap set by law ($160,300). The Secret Service is not running out of money. The solution is to rotate the agents so that none hit the cap, and hire more agents.
They hired 800 agents last year and lost 500.
No matter....they just ask for additional funds....and they get them.
