I am now, well informed about where to go in Texas for antipasto.
Do you know the NY Italian way (from children and grandchildren of immigrants ) to pronounce P is with a B? And the word pasta is only used for specific dishes and the word Macaroni is the word used in general. And the letter A gets lost from pasta most times? As in anti- bast. Bast and Cheech.
Basta fazool (pasta fagioli). And most families said gravey instead of sauce.
