Can't beat Wikipedia.
First Dick Gregory, then Jerry Lewis. Who’s next?
I’m going to guess Willie Nelson.

We can only be sure it won’t be Keith Richards.
[It was actually the other way around. Lewis was a smart, shrewd guy. Playing the fool is what made their act a hit and allowed Martin to become a popular singer.]
Pretty much like Abbott and Costello.
Oh, Ron Silver! He was a wonderful actor, too.
Never heard of THIS
“Will the Real Jerry Lewis Please Sit Down”

The opening and closing to Filmation’s “Will the Real Jerry Lewis Please Sit Down”, which aired from September 12, 1970 through September 2, 1972 on ABC-TV. The series, which featured David L. Landers (later Squiggy on “Laverne & Shirley”) as the voice of Jerry Lewis, was based on various characters that were originally created by Jerry Lewis for his films.
“It seems like last year and this year have been particularly bad in taking the greats from us.”
It actually started in April 2015 when seven music greats died.
1. Dave Ball of Procol Harum
2. Jack Ely of The Kingsman
3. Tut Taylor, Bluegrass musician
4. Ben E. King
5. Percy Sledge
6. Margo Reed, Jazz musician
7. Benjamin F. Logan, Bluegrass musician
RIP Jerry Lewis
I think liberal lobby groups eventually had the cartoons done away with because many of them were not politically correct, reinforced stereotypes, weren't "educational" enough and other typical liberal clap-trap alarmist nonsense.
Will miss you, funny guy! You’ll have them rolling in the aisles, up in the heavenly realm!
Yes! That was a funny & memorable one!
John McCain!
Ann-Margret just so happens to occupy the number one spot on my list of sexiest women ever (among famous people, of course). The fact that she does not fail to disappoint, fifty plus years into her career only serves to confirm that ranking.

One of the giants. RIP.
Damn Hippies!
You summed it up perfectly. I have been reading a lot tonight about Jerry and no one has mentioned his time at Brown’s Resort in Loch Sheldrake... that was one of his seminal gigs!
The Rembrandt Letters...Keep your foot on the pedal..next time I’ll take the bus,,,
Makes you wonder why, doesn’t it? I always liked Dean Martin. I think Dean’s children actually liked him too (altho I could be wrong on that).
Yeah. One might say it was due to health issues etc. Dunno. I watched a bunch of interviews and there was a consistent obnoxiousness and meanness through all of them. I found it sad because I had always liked the guy’s work.
Nevertheless I am not trying to bash the guy. He was what he was. He had a full life.
King of Comedy was an intriguing movie and a favorite of mine. Jerry was perfect in his role.
