The opening and closing to Filmation’s “Will the Real Jerry Lewis Please Sit Down”, which aired from September 12, 1970 through September 2, 1972 on ABC-TV. The series, which featured David L. Landers (later Squiggy on “Laverne & Shirley”) as the voice of Jerry Lewis, was based on various characters that were originally created by Jerry Lewis for his films.

I very vaguely remember this! Back in the early 70s, all the stations had Saturday morning cartoons like Scooby Doo, Speed Racer, The Archies, and The Jetsons. This must have been one of them. Saturday mornings were big for cartoons.

I think liberal lobby groups eventually had the cartoons done away with because many of them were not politically correct, reinforced stereotypes, weren't "educational" enough and other typical liberal clap-trap alarmist nonsense.
