See all the White folk. Walking their precious dogs for all to see. They even talk to them. A replacement for their slave-owner, inner desire. They can't own a Negro, so now they replace that urge with a dog. Most will play the white guilt game, but really, the dog is their new negro. A lot of them train their kids to walk and OWN the dog too. To perpetuate the need. Racist to the bone. No change after all these years.

Dear FReepers, many thanks to everyone who took time to post replies. As a follow up I just wanted to let you know that after repeated attempts yesterday to get my “slave” dog to pull my tractor, I ended up having to cut two acres of grass & weeds yesterday all by myself. Upon arriving back at the house totally exhausted, please know that my slave dog was again asleep in his favorite spot, having just finished his dinner and having his toe nails clipped by my wife.

In my next life I hope to come back as a slave dog.
