At the first official "Pride Night" for the St. Louis Cardinals, the ceremonial first pitch will be thrown by transgender entertainer Tassandra Crush, reports multiple LBGTQ media outlets. It is believed to be the first time a transgender individual will throw a first pitch at a Major League Baseball game.
The game is on Friday, August 25 at Busch Stadium, and special Pride Night themed Cardinals hats will be the team's promotional giveaway.
Crush is Pride St. Louis' reigning Queen of Pride.

So chopping off your balls qualifies you to throw a ball at a ballgame?
“You throw like a girl!”
“Oh,thank you so much for noticing!”
I don’t believe the Fraud’s handlers allowed him to try that again.
I was boycotting NFL but I will be back now that the traitor has no job. Baseball us my new one...along with Target, Starbucks, CNN etc you get the picture.
Another lifelong Cardinals fan here.
In fact, I’m right-handed but learned to bat left-handed because my baseball idol, “Stan the Man”, batted lefthanded.
I gotta re-think my MLB loyalty....
It’s a dude.
Check the chromosomes, not the eyeliner. That’s about a quart of eyeliner, btw.
Stop pretending, everybody, and accept what is real.
Cant be any worse than Obama’s First Pitch
Then there was the time when Hillary hit the field head first just outside of the presidential box.
Bill was heard to say. “Oops!. I thought you said ‘throw out the first (b) itch’.”
Good for him.
You sure that isn’t Barry Soetoro?
It hasn’t paid to get outta bed this week.
I hope there are no statues of Whitey Herzog around.
Wouldn’t that be a receiver rather than a pitcher or maybe far, far, far out in lefty field.
See the USA.
Baseball, Hotdogs, Apple Pie and Transgenders!
NOT!!!!
Pride night at the ballgame...? Really, you need to have your family exposed to it? I guess it takes balls to remove them... :-)
Sick. Pathetic. Bye, bye baseball.
How crazy, I too was taught to bat left handed b/c my Dad was a huge Stan the Man fan...
Why the Cardinals would do this is beyond me and I’m betting a lot of fans will be very disappointed.
In high school, I batted left and right but always had more power as a lefty.
I read somewhere your “power arm” should always be inside so batting lefthanded made sense for this righthander.
Later I took up golf as a lefty - found there were fewer choices for clubs.
I do play tennis righthanded....
btw, Stan Musial and Arnold Palmer were my sports idols - GREAT athletes and humble human beings. I especially liked Arnie’s spirit of drive and being aggressive....kinda why I like Phil M. and now Spieth.
