Senator Bob Corker, unleashing one of the most pointed attacks from a Republican official on President Donald Trump, said on Thursday the president had not yet shown the "stability and competence" the United States needs, nor an understanding of the nation's character.
"The president has not yet been able to demonstrate the stability, nor some of the competence, that he needs to demonstrate in order to be successful," Corker, the chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations, told reporters after an event in Tennessee.

Up for reelection in 2018...whos good in TN that can primary him?
Bump!
Hey, hey, ho, ho! This RINO’s got to go!
Corker could not change the Treaty Clause to arm Iran without the full support of McConnell, GOP leadership, K-Street, and other elites.
Senator Bob Corker handed Bath-house Barry the Iran Nuclear “Deal” on a silver platter.
If these RINOs think they are safe when they let the leftists start the next civil war, they are mistaken.
I’ll take any American that loves America and Americans over this guy.
^THIS^
Actually, the AP had more in their article...Corker’s full statement~which to me was very chilling...almost a threat:
The president “has not yet been able to demonstrate the stability, nor some of the competence, that he needs to demonstrate in order to be successful,” Sen. Bob Corker said after an event in his home state.
The Tennessee Republican, typically an ally of the White House, warned: “OUR NATION IS GOING TO GO THROUGH GREAT PERIL” IF TRUMP CANNOT SHOW THAT HE UNDERSTANDS “WHAT HAS MADE THIS NATION GREAT.” \
What does that comment even mean?!?!?
Corker cannot win reelection without votes from Trump supporters. Unless he thinks he can win the primary and then use the opposition to him from Trump voters to generate lots of Democrat crossover votes. IDK. But a strong primary opponent is the place to start
This corker loser is yet another in a long list of seditious traitors. What an absolute traitor to the electorate, to the Constitution, to his Oath of Office and to this country. May he rot.
Besides Corker, Republicahs who have attacked the President:
“Through his statements yesterday, President Trump took a step backward by again suggesting there is moral equivalency between the white supremacist neo-Nazis and KKK members who attended the Charlottesville rally and people like Ms. Heyer. I, along with many others, do not endorse this moral equivalency. Many Republicans do not agree with and will fight back against the idea that the Party of Lincoln has a welcome mat out for the David Dukes of the world.”—Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC)
“There is no moral equivalency between racists and Americans standing up to defy hate & bigotry. The President should say so.” —Senator John McCain (R-AZ)
“The organizers of events which led to the Charlottesville attack are 100% to blame for a number of reasons.” “Mr. President, you can’t allow white supremacists to share only part of the blame. They support ideas which cost the world so much pain.”— Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL)
“We can’t accept excuses for white supremacy and act of domestic terroris,
We must condemn them. Period.”—Senator Jeff Flake (R-AZ)
“The president was wrong.”— Senator Corey Gardner (R-CO)
“White supremacy, racism and bigotry have absolutely no place in our society & no one- especially POTUS- should ever tolerate it.”—Senator Jerry Moran (R-KS)
“This is terrible. The President of the United States needs to condemn these kinds of hate groups. The President has to totally condemn this. It’s not about winning an argument.”—Governor John Kasich (R-OH)
“The president needs to clearly and categorically reject white supremacists.
No excuses. No ambiguity.”—Representative Ed Royce, (R-CA)
“Mr. President, there is only one side: AGAINST white supremacists, neo-Nazis, anti-Semites & the KKK. They have no place in America or GOP.”—Representative Leonard Lance (R-NJ)
“The president should apologize. Racism, bigotry, anti-Semitism of any form is unacceptable.”—Representative Wil Hurd (R-TX)
Statements issued with no specific mention of the president:
“We can have no tolerance for an ideology of racial hatred. There are no good neo-Nazis, and those who espouse their views are not supporters of American ideals and freedoms. We all have a responsibility to stand against hate and violence, wherever it raises its evil head.”—Senator Mitch McConnell (R-KY)
“We must be clear. White nationalism is repulsive. This bigotry is counter to all this nation stands for. There can be no ambiguity.”—Representative Paul Ryan (R-WI)
“Blaming ‘both sides’ for Charlottesville?! No. Back to relativism when dealing with KKK, Nazi sympathizers, white supremacists? Just no.”—Representative Illeana Ros-Lehtinen (R-FL)
