Bannon was in high spirits when he phoned me Tuesday afternoon to discuss the politics of taking a harder line with China, and minced no words describing his efforts to neutralize his rivals at the Departments of Defense, State, and Treasury. Theyre wetting themselves, he said, proceeding to detail how he would oust some of his opponents at State and Defense.
To me, Bannon said, the economic war with China is everything. And we have to be maniacally focused on that. If we continue to lose it, we're five years away, I think, ten years at the most, of hitting an inflection point from which we'll never be able to recover.
The Democrats, he said, the longer they talk about identity politics, I got em. I want them to talk about racism every day. If the left is focused on race and identity, and we go with economic nationalism, we can crush the Democrats.

Bannon has been a massive success and also had perfect timing in every career he has entered. The man is a winner, like Trump. They are two sides of the same coin. He’ll be there until January 20, 2025.
It's because of lower electricity costs.
Thanks to Trump's energy policy
The USA will become a net exporter of coal, oil and gas
Also own big chunks of the petrochemical industry, feed-stock materials for plastics etc.
1. As Kuttner says, Bannon extremely media savvy, so this wasn’t a spur of the moment call. It doubtless was approved by either Trump or Kelly.
2. If Bannon says publicly that military action vs NORKS was off the table, you can bet it was very much ON the table & that’s why they backed down.
3. He says exactly what I said earlier today on Twitter: Dems please keep running on race. You guarantee your own extinction.
4. When Bannon talks to a left wing rag about economic nationalism, he knows avg Dem won’t read it-—but it will trickle down. This will move a million more votes to Trump.
Who is better at 4D chess? Bannon or Trump?
I would like to point out that everyone was making these same defenses of Scaramucci during his drunk dial interview.
Not me. I never once said the Mooch was in on the cheese.
Quite the contrary, I thought he was being used by Bannon/Trump to out some people. He was a tool.
Question: Is president Trump aware that he is allowed to fire people who work for him?
Why did Mooch need to come in and set the place on fire for a week in order to get rid of Preibus?
Did you know that Reagan never fired anyone, including his chief of staff in Sacramento, who had a homosexual ring in the governor’s office? Haig resigned.
He didn’t fire Spicer or Mooch. They resigned.
Many positions in government are not subject to presidential approval. There are about 2000 total positions he can appoint, including legal counsel, judges, cabinet members, etc. All the rest are Civil Service jobs, not “fireable.”
There are reasons you always let a subordinate do the firing.
There are probably other websites like this one. I have bought mainly toys and kitchen/dining implements from them.
Still a long way to go, I know, but it’s something....
