Give it a while, the Left is not there yet. The Confederacy is just the low-hanging fruit.

In a decade or so, it'll be slave owners (Andrew Jackson, etc.), then slave owning-Founding Fathers, etc. Maybe the growing Latino population will go after statues of Sam Houston and other Texas Revolution historical figures.
