Climate alarmist Al Gores second film, An Inconvenient Sequel, failed to heat up the box-office, falling from 16th to 18th over the Aug. 11-13 weekend.
Its a dramatic fall from glory for the climate alarmist whose first film, An Inconvenient Truth, won several awards including an Oscar and grossed $24 million.
An Inconvenient Sequel, meanwhile, grossed just under $2.3 million in the U.S. since its Aug. 4 release.
The films poor performance was especially humorous because of Viacom used many platforms to promote the film and the liberal media heaped praise on Gore prior to its release.
Youre a movie star, CBS national correspondent Lee Cowan told Gore in a July 16, 2017, CBS Sunday Morning interview. Its you and Wonder Woman this summer. It is!

This one will get an Oscar too.
In terms of credible, reality-based content that each of them presents, I'd say that this is a pretty accurate statement...
Go see it..........just remember that it’s fiction.
Are we still allowed to handout a booby prize?
Al Gore made a film?
Who knew? More importantly, who cares?
Al Gore should leave the movie-making to the more experienced, like Michael Moore.
Does anybody go see Michael’s films either? I hear the documentaries are the grossest around.
algore was a snake oil genius for his time, bigger than the Hale Bopp tennis shoe crazies.
I would suggest this. The first movie came out in 2006...eleven years ago. At that point, maybe 80-percent of the public believed in the gimmick.
2017? I don’t think you will find more than 35-percent of the public who truly believe the hype.
I also think the college crowd have seen the South Park manbearpig episode a number of times, and they mostly laugh over the whole topic now.
Rumor has it a DVD of the movie will be included with the sale of any Apple product. That should boost sales.
Here's hoping that it cost more than 2.3 million to produce and place.I am pretty sure the Europeans will love it, though.
Maybe a free showing. i am not going to donate to Algore.
That’s because you’re using the observed gross ticket sales. According to ticket sale models it’s number one now and will be the biggest hit ever by 2100.
I’d give that to Wonder Woman :)
I saw the trailer as I was waiting to see Dunkirk. I thought it was a political ad, which was not what I was there for. I wanted to yell, vomit, or both.
Knew the movie would be a flop when the audience let out a collective groan, as soon as Al's face came onscreen.
Sounds like it was so bad that people will walk out. On airliners.
Wonder Woman flies an invisible jet. He flies an invisible idea. She has a lasso of truth. He has a ring of BS.
It will still be shown in every public school.
Only ww doesn’t get her panties in a bunch.
Sounds like it will be a net loss.
This one will get an Oscar too.
and another Nobel Peace Prize ,LOL
