Lauren Southern interviewed a guy last night who was there:
“His car was getting attacked with bats, stones and bricks.”
Yup. Thankfully I haven’t been in that situation, but if I’m driving and I get surrounded and people start banging on my car, I will slam through that crowd. I’ll deal with consequences later — my priority is to get out of the situation.
I’m currently thinking the guy in Charlottesville did exactly that. With what i know know (definitely incomplete) if I were on the jury, I’d let him go.
I have instructed my wife that if found herself in a like situation to put the pedal to the medal and get out, then head for the closest police station.
I bet if Reginald Denny had to do it all over again, he’d go pedal-to-the-metal on his truck and high-tail it out of that BLEEPhole instead of suffering the fate he did.
