Sad times we live in. Newt makes the case that univ. professors have to make hiding places on campus since they know the students will come after them when somethning happens they don't like but when BLM people do anything its A-OK.
What we're experiencing now is a type of civil war, the voters versus the bureaucracy, and at times it's hard to tell who's on which side.

Looks like there was violence on both sides during the riots. Why should the President immediately condemn this kid when all the facts are not in? He knows more than most as to what was happening, but it looked like the BLM and Anifa were doing their usual violence.
Who shot the Rep Congressmen at the ballfield? Who trashed the campus and town at Berkeley? Or Ferguson? Or stopped the Trump campaign rally in Chicago? Or trashed Portland?
The list of leftist violence against Trump supporters is a mile long. The overwhelming amount of violence is being committed by the Left who are trying to stifle free speech. This one incident doesn't change that equation. Trump was correct to say that hate is coming from all sides, but the reality is that the Left is the primary perpetrator.

Since when is the President the healer in chief? This was a riot and bad things happen in riots. We are one step away from a Civil War and the Right has been taking the brunt of the abuse.
Are we sure the car driver planned on running people down or was terrified he was going to get beat up and punched the gas? Either way he was a 20 yr old kid in a middle of a violent riot.
Exactly. This riot didn't come out of nowhere. City fathers of Charlottesville decided that history didn't matter when it comes to pc. PC rules.Sad day for America when locals decide what is history and what is not.
Of course that's no excuse for what happened.This entire event should have been avoided in favor of the court system.A well financed group in search of preserving historical truth should have won the case even if it had to go all the way to the SC.
The hard left has been changing our history books for years yet few ever riot.
Truth is history remains blind. It either happened or it didn't. If a statue is erected to remind folks of the local history how can anyone claim its not history?
