McConnell's a guinea pig - he squeals pretty loudly

President Donald Trump believes that Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell did not do everything possible to pass an Obamacare replacement bill. When reporters asked Trump why he continued to batter McConnell despite support for the Senate Majority Leader from his Republican colleagues, he replied shortly, “Don’t make anything of it, we should have health care approved.”
He hinted that McConnell should have threatened to remove Sen. John McCain, Sen. Lisa Murkowski, or Sen. Susan Collins from their chair positions in the Senate to force them to vote for the health care bill.
“He should have known that he had a couple of votes that turned on him and that should have been very easy to handle, whether it’s through the fact that you take away a committee chairmanship or do whatever you have to do,” Trump said, offering advice for McConnell.

What makes him think McConnell wants anything to do with the conservative agenda?
They did what he and all the other senators wanted them to do, so that the rest of the puke R’s couldn’t pretend like they tried.
None of them want repeal. All of them are liars.
I suspect that McConnell is working harder to block or remove Trump.

I think that’s what he’s doing now. He has no legal authority to remove him, so now he’s using the Bully Pulpit. It’s wonderful to have a president who fights.
Wonder how McConnell’s wife is doing in her position? Maybe it’s time to replace her. There’s nothing Trump can do to turn McConnell into a patriot.

Her name came up in the last few days and Trump said ‘Elaine Chao is doing a great job’. She is his Sec of Transportation.
To be fair, they probably let McConnell know that if he does that, they would vote for Schumer as majority leader.
Not a smart idea. All three would immediately become Democrats, and Chuck Schumer would be the Senate majority leader.
