US President Donald Trump has said he is not ruling out a military option in dealing with the crisis in Venezuela.
"The people are suffering and they are dying," he said.
Venezuela's Defense Minister Vladimir Padrino said President Trump's suggestion was "an act of craziness".
President Nicolas Maduro's new constituent assembly has been widely criticized as anti-democratic. The US recently imposed sanctions on President Maduro, branding him a dictator.
"We have many options for Venezuela, including a possible military option if necessary," Mr. Trump told reporters on Friday evening.
"We have troops all over the world in places that are very far away. Venezuela is not very far away and the people are suffering an they're dying.".....

Venezuela is not a threat to the US, they are not our business. Trump needs to keep his attention on N. Korea, Iran, and ISIS.
Finance, arm and train their resistance and move on.
Why should we have our military babysit that rubbish heap?
Venezuelans have been trash talking the US for over a decade making it their whipping boy for their problems. So why should we care about the situation they are now in?
Not to mention ANTIFA and the media who are jumping to conclusions in Virginia.

Sure, why not? Maybe cutting off revenue will force change. Isn’t that what we are attempting via China with North Korea? I see, but have not read, another thread someone just posted wherein the title and excerpt seem to suggest that China is going to stop importing coal and such for North Korea. That will hurt North Korea. Enough to force change? Depends.
