Posted on 08/11/2017 1:39:03 PM PDT by Hojczyk

The Republican-led Senator lied to the American people. They promised to repeal the failed Obamacare law for seven-and-a-half years. They ran their campaigns on repealing Obamacare. But they all lied.

And then Mitch McConnell had the gall to blame President Trump for expecting too much from the senate!

.Sens. tweeting support of McConnell: ▪️Cornyn ▪️Corker ▪️Tillis ▪️Isakson ▪️Collins ▪️Hatch ▪️Gardner ▪️Heller ▪️Flake ▪️Young ▪️Capito.

"do nothing Congress"

The implication here is the opposite of getting busy to dismantle the 80% unconstitutional portion of the government and then going on a part-time basis the way Congress used to be.

they ARE NOT doing what YOU want them to do

They haven't done what I've wanted them to do for basically my whole life. What about you? What do you think of our mostly unconstitutional federal government? Do you even have a notion of the ultimate goal we must reach if we are to rid ourselves of federal tyranny?

You're welcome.

How many years has the Lying Left been screaming their lies through their megaphones and their capitalized headlines?

I'd say it's the Right's turn to start screaming out the truth once in a while. In fact a lot. Whatever it takes.

And oh BTW, if you’d bothered to read what I posted I didn’t say “doing nothing”. I said getting busy working themselves out of a job. Then I don’t care what they do.

You can go back to sleep now.

I would like to see the Lobbiest system abolished. It should be a crime punishable by life in prison for any congressman or other politician to be caught taking bribes, gratuities, granting favors that give advantage or even talking to industry reps seeking favors ( they do not get caught but do it as a matter of course)

the constituents that the politicians protect and coddle have become industry: big box racketeers, Big Pharma, wholesale insurance brokers, usery money lenders, entertainment/communication monopolies,..... and not the people they are supposed to represent, which makes our politicians our enemy, not our representatives.

...the next objective to meet that goal is restoring the constitutional independent sovereignty of the states.

Well, that sounds great, high minded even. Except for the whole body of existing law and SCOTUS decisions that have eviscerated the 10th amendment.

Getting the states straightened out also means among other things getting more non-politician, America-lovers into Congress.

Sounds great, but we can't even get McCain, Ryan, McConnell or Collins voted out.

We MUST get the right guy in the WH in 2024 to finish what Trump has started - a fearless fighter who is ready, willing, and able to dismantle the unconstitutional 80% of the federal government...

Yeah, well, even if we find that guy, the President is not the king so he will need congress to send him such legislation. They never will. It isn't in THEIR interest to do so.

If we the people are going to fix this mess we'll have to go around the swamp and shove it down their throats.

From my perch the choice looks like article V or CWII. Because most of what you say we must do isn't on the existing political menu.

Also lets try to repeal Amendment XVII, which has weakened state representation in Congress.

How do you propose we do that? Ask McConnell and Schumer to propose an amendment?

The issue isn't big box racketeers, Big Pharma, wholesale insurance brokers, usery money lenders, entertainment/communication monopolies. Business will always try to get government handouts or favor.

The issue is corrupt politicians taking bribes from private enterprise and individuals. Federal officials taking bribes is unconstitutional.

The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.
U.S. Constitution art. II, sec.4.

The fact that this corruption is rampant and nobody does anything about it doesn't change the fact it is corrupt and illegal activity that requires removal from office.

There's nothing unconstitutional about private enterprise and individuals seeking favors from government. The Lying Left always tries to make the bad guy be private enterprise because the Lying Left hates private enterprise and the free market (they hate freedom from government).

But there is EVERYTHING unconstitutional about federal officials accepting bribes for those favors.

Yes, I do have notion. Quite a bit more than a notion, in fact. But, while you are trying to insinuate that I’m a closet leftist, remember that all I said was that they are called the “Do Nothing Congress” because they are doing NOTHING to dismantle the federal bureaucracy. I’m not calling them that for failing to pass stupid sh!t like a “jobs bill” or any other stuff to “help” the people. I want them DOING things like passing the repeal bill for Obamacare, lowering MIDDLE CLASS TAXES, and building a wall.

You should take a step back and consider that you were wrong in assuming that Trump voters are calling them “do nothings” because they aren’t increasing the size of the government! We want this crap dismantled AS MUCH AS YOU. Get off your high horse.

I read your post.

The RINOs in Congress are doing nothing to end Big Government.

My point stands.

existing law and SCOTUS decisions that have eviscerated the 10th amendment

Don't you think it's about time to attack and fix that the way the Lying left did to the Constitution and nineteenth century precedent?

can't even get McCain, Ryan, McConnell or Collins voted out

If the American People don't rise up and claim their freedom and their Constitution they have no one to blame but themselves. But I see a move afoot to change all of that and Trump is the first sign. More to come I think.

most of what you say we must do isn't on the existing political menu

The only way it will get on the "political menu" is if these DC scoundels feel threatened by American voters who have woken up and are going after them. Risk of losing their cushy political jobs is the only motivation for these corrupt politicians to get the right things on their agenda.

Article V as an overall solution is actually a weak work around. The issue isn't changing the Constitution. The issue is ENFORCING the Constitution as written and originally understood and intended. It would help however to repeal the 17th Amendment and put in a term-limit amendment. But Article V is a long ways off and is fraught with many pitfalls.

You sound like a POW. Like you've acquiesced to this tyranny. Well, I feel sorry for you, but there are some of us who will never accept tyranny and will fight for freedom. Many have lost faith and love for freedom. Many don't even understand freedom. But many others do.

This isn't unlike the times of our founding. Many were loyal to English tyranny. The patriots were in the minority. But with their ardor and the Divine Providence of Almighty God, America miraculously became a notation and America will now miraculously recover her Free Constitutional Republic.

try to repeal Amendment XVII...how do you propose we do that?

Only way I know of is your Article V. But that is a long ways off and could do more harm than good unless the agenda was strictly limited to the repeal and term limits. Even then, the process is fraught with pitfalls.

Great but without defining what is meant by “do nothing” you’re left with the more than likely possibly that Congress will show they are not “do nothing” by passing a lot more off these idiotic laws that are oppressive and unconstitutional.

An undefined “Do-Nothing” Congress certainly does not automatically imply a Congress that should be legislating themselves and many bureaucrats out of a job which is exactly what they need to be doing.

Fully repeal Obamacare.

Lower taxes.

That's just for starters what Congress needs to do. Jim Hoft, the author of this article wants Big Government disassembled. Mitch and Ryan are "doing nothing" to disassemble government. Hoft correctly points that out. It's not an alt-right thing to say.

Now when the time comes that Trump, Ryan and Turdle want to spend federal money on infrastructure, then Congress doing nothing would be a good thing. But that's not what this article is about.

Alexander, Corker, Flake, Graham, Hatch, Heller, Hoeven, Murkowsky, McCain, Rubio, Gardner, Burr, Tillis, Portman, McConnell, Thune, Cornyn, Cochran, Isackson, Blunt, Johnson, Toomey, Capito, Rounds, Fischer, Collins, Wicker, Sasse, Ernst and Shelby are all Democrats in R jerseys.

We need a new GOP, the Amnesty Senators should be the first to go, though.
