existing law and SCOTUS decisions that have eviscerated the 10th amendment

Don't you think it's about time to attack and fix that the way the Lying left did to the Constitution and nineteenth century precedent?

can't even get McCain, Ryan, McConnell or Collins voted out

If the American People don't rise up and claim their freedom and their Constitution they have no one to blame but themselves. But I see a move afoot to change all of that and Trump is the first sign. More to come I think.

most of what you say we must do isn't on the existing political menu

The only way it will get on the "political menu" is if these DC scoundels feel threatened by American voters who have woken up and are going after them. Risk of losing their cushy political jobs is the only motivation for these corrupt politicians to get the right things on their agenda.

Article V as an overall solution is actually a weak work around. The issue isn't changing the Constitution. The issue is ENFORCING the Constitution as written and originally understood and intended. It would help however to repeal the 17th Amendment and put in a term-limit amendment. But Article V is a long ways off and is fraught with many pitfalls.

You sound like a POW. Like you've acquiesced to this tyranny. Well, I feel sorry for you, but there are some of us who will never accept tyranny and will fight for freedom. Many have lost faith and love for freedom. Many don't even understand freedom. But many others do.

This isn't unlike the times of our founding. Many were loyal to English tyranny. The patriots were in the minority. But with their ardor and the Divine Providence of Almighty God, America miraculously became a notation and America will now miraculously recover her Free Constitutional Republic.

A short and effective solution might be a new Constitutional Amendment: All politicians and government employees - If you lie, you die. Cost of rope will be deducted from your death benefits.

I don't need you pity. I am just realistic about how the process works.

The issue is ENFORCING the Constitution as written and originally understood and intended.

Well, that would be nice, but what you have in fact is the Constitution as amended and interpreted by SCOTUS for the last 150 years or so. You can't just vote that away. If your lucky you can get some of the worst decisions overturned (Wickard for one)

Only way I know of is your Article V. But that is a long ways off and could do more harm than good unless the agenda was strictly limited to the repeal and term limits. Even then, the process is fraught with pitfalls.

Article V does not open the whole Constitution up the replace. Anything that does pass requires 2/3 of the states. The left doesn't have the votes to enact anything onerous. That is why I said, now may be our best chance to act.
