How To Stop A Wayward Special Counsel
Daily Caller ^ | August 9, 2017 | Roger Banks

Denizens of the anti-Trump confederacy see Special Counsel Robert Mueller as their best hope to accomplish what Mark Levin has aptly described as a “coup.” The insurrection community has been persuaded by its organizers that Mueller can undo the election, and even avenge the terrible Trump, who cast them into a fiery lake of pain and despair. If not by impeachment, then by successive hailstorms of harassment and headlines, with insoluble dark clouds of suspicion, the insurgents seek to enervate and cripple the president.

Let’s suppose Mueller, and the Deputy Attorney General who appointed him, Rod Rosenstein, are motivated by the same objectives as the febrile proponents of the self-described “resistance.” Suppose they’re pursuing what the president has called “a total fabrication,” a stratagem to wreck his administration, and usurp the sovereignty of the people who elected him.

Is there a way to stop them?

I believe there is. But not with any remedy publicly advocated to date.

“Big waste of time”...

Not to mention the BIG WASTE OF MONEY!

The leftist bastards will never give up. I predict that they will still be gunning for Trump come 2020 and beyond, their corrupt way of life is threatened and they are fighting to their death, which can’t come soon enough.

My proposal would be to sue Muller for malpractice. Civil suit, doesn’t require any action by the AG. In fact, I imagine that you or I could do it. We should sue him personally, and anyone and any institution backing him - e.g., the Democrat Party - for the price of a presidential campaign. Because it cost money to get Trump elected, and unjustly taking him out of office would therefore be, to us, an expensive proposition. If Soros can be connected to this, the payoff could be quite worthwhile.

In fact, sue all the journalists who are promoting this travesty while you are at it.

How about fire the Coward - Jeff Sessions, and hire a real Attorney General?

I'd call that a very good step in the right direction. Only problem is, the Senate just blocked Trump from making any recess appointments, so he's stuck with him.

The only way out of this pickle is for Sessions to revoke his recusal on the grounds that Mueller's investigation has turned up nothing in six month's time. He should then order Mueller to wrap it up within a week, and turn in his findings.

I don't give that much chance of happening, but it is a way out.

How about withholding funding for the independent prosecutor?

Here’s what needs to happen:

Step 1. Republican-controlled committee in Congress requires Rosenstein, Mueller and Comey to testify under oath to determine contacts and conversations among them and others concerning the Special Counsel appointment.

We already know that Mueller violated federal law by leaking the contents of a memorandum concerning internal federal government discussion of FBI matters, in particular a conversation with the president, and that he did this for the purpose of procuring a special counsel appointment.

I strongly suspect that the appointment of the Special Counsel, including the illegal jurisdictional language, was coordinated beforehand among Comey, Mueller and Rosenstein.

The committee needs to subpoena telephone logs, email and messaging records, calendars, and put personal assistants under oath to get to the bottom of who did what when and how this Special Counsel was appointed.

Step 2. The Republican-controlled congressional committee makes a referral to the Department of Justice for a criminal investigation of conspiracy to abuse process and deny civil rights by Mueller, Comey and Rosenstein in appointing Mueller as Special Counsel in violation of the DOJ special counsel regulations and for the improper purpose of political retribution against Trump and his political allies and personal retribution for the firing of Comey.

Step 3. Sessions having recused himself, Rosenstein must then recuse himself because of his personal involvement. The matter then falls to DAG Rachel Brand.

Step 4. DAG Brand appoints a Special Counsel to investigate Mueller, Comey and Rosenstein for conspiracy to violate civil rights and abuse of process and other crimes. There may even be RICO charges available against them depending on what predicate criminal activity they engaged in in the course of the conspiracy.

Needed for this course of action? A GOP in Congress that is willing to stand up for the rule of law.
