What would the world do without PETA, who always tackles the important issues? Leading up to the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics, the radical anti-humans at PETA now advocate for "silent fireworks" because traditional fireworks scar dogs emotionally.
According to LA Weekly, they "want to see silent fireworks, or possibly even a Summer Games without fireworks at all, so that animals aren't traumatized by the simulation of artillery."
"We have seen success with silent fireworks," says PETA's associate director of online marketing, Kate Tuggle. "Silent fireworks are generally more colorful."

Well, even a broken clock is right twice a day. Fireworks do scare the living crap out of dogs.
My GSD loses it over the fireworks. She wants to bust out of the house. Going for a walk helps as she can survey the “war zone.”
Don’t care about fireworks for the Olympics, but no way in Hell must they be curbed for the 4th.
Isn't that what comes out of dogs anyway?
Not all of them: PETA should go on a crusade to get everyone to only buy dogs that were bred specifically for hunting. Most dogs intended for gun hunting are not afraid of loud booms.

my neighbors griped about fireworks in the neighborhood this 4th.
Between the dogs and the babies, everybody was up in arms.
Our neighbors have been shooting fireworks on the 4th and NYE for the last 20 years. But this year all the under 40 something moms had cows and took to social media to call out the neighbors celebrating.
Have two GSDs....neither one cares....they don’t even lift their heads

The bright lights of fireworks wakes up the birdies and confuses them.
I bought a lab pup for duck hunting but he couldn’t handle the sound. He is a great pet but that dog won’t hunt. lol
Then the PETA idiots should just turn their volume down. That would be as effective as trying to create silent fireworks.
