It still makes me angry that the GOP was stupid enough to pick Juan McLame as its presidential candidate, without really any contest or debate. His craziness and lack of loyalty to anything were crystal clear even back then. But boy did I catch heat on FR by saying he was poisonous and would stab us in the back. Which he basically did by stopping campaigning before the election.
The only reason they are there is to enrich themselves. They care nothing about this country or the taxpaying citizens. Amazing that they all become millionaires.
This, after 7 YEARS of Republicans promising “repeal and replace” — yet weasels like McConnell want to pretend that President Trump is raising “expectations” too high???????
He can’t legislate his way out of a soggy wet paper bag....
Sadly, Trump has let them get away with it.
The big wrong move he made was in listening to Jivanka rather than, indeed, the likes of Roger Stone when he started his hiring in the WH with chief of staff. Jivanka thought they could get along with the Establishment and so pushed for Priebus. Priebus brought in a GOPe/Never Trump type to run the personnel office—and then made sure of two things 1) that new Trump hires would be named as slowly as possible, and 2) that new Trump hires be guaranteed not to be pro-Trump or pro-his agenda, but uniparty Democrats or GOPe traitors.
Then Priebus convinced Trump to leave the legislating to the Pence/Ryan/Priebus triumvirate that, what do you know, somehow just hasn’t managed to get anything passed.
So Trump finally removed Priebus—but yikes, he put in one of his “generals”, of the McMaster/Mattis/Kelly trio, as his new chief of staff. Now the noose is tightening around him and though he may enjoy the absence of the Priebus-allowed chaos, the silencing of conservative information and voices around him is even more foreboding.
Yeeeaaaaahhhh riiiiiight
With the next senate races in 2018, several Democrats could lose their seats along with a RINO or two.
At risk right now:
Bill Nelson (D-Fla.)
Joe Donnelly (D-Ind.)
Claire McCaskill (D-Mo.)
Jon Tester (D-Mont.)
Dean Heller (R-Nev.)
Heidi Heitkamp (D-N.D.)
Sherrod Brown (D-Ohio)
Bob Casey (D-Pa.)
Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.)
Tammy Baldwin (D-Wis.)
I tried to Primary the SOB out a few years ago, but he won anyway.
Its just typical uniparty bs.
Someone on 4chan posted a McCain campaign poster—wish I had save it—in which Johnny pledged that repeal of the Affordable Care act was his #1 priority ...
So how’s that VA care working out for you, you exempt AZ POS/
Totally agree. I’m fed up! How do all these congress critters end up so mega wealthy? By screwing us, that’s how! Term limits would go a long way in ending this corruption. Serving us in Congress should be just that. Go in and do what you can for your constituents for a time and get the hell out before you are entrenched and corrupted. It has to not be a career!
I didn’t know Mitch McConnell was a satirist.
If we were millionaires, it would be fun to buy some billboards in his own district: “DITCH MITCH!”
The biggest problem Mitch McConnell has is the fact that Republicans ALONE have this problem.
The Democrats had no problem accomplishing great harm to our limited form of government. But Mitchell...just can’t seem to get off his ass and do what needs to be done.
