North Korea is considering a plan to fire missiles at Guam, state media said.

An EMP high over Guam would be the most effective type of strike. Can missile defense get that high?

Guam is a US Territory this would be an attack upon the USA.

What is going to happen, and will have to happen, is that Trump and U.S. will have to take out NK’s nuclear capabilities. Japan will be expecting us to do so. They are a threat to entire peninsula even China.
It would be like Pearl Harbor was in 1941.

Guam, eh? It is a long-held nuke storage and bomber base (since the early 50’s), but a poor target for someone lobbing missiles from the NorK’s latitude. Even a little bit sideways, or long, or short and, “Who cares? It missed.” And, when it misses, there is nothing around Guam to get hit.
But the launch itself, and the explosion or the failure to explode, give us immediate reasons to destroy their government, military, and Kim himself.
Could be. He’s playing a very dangerous game with Guam. Which is why I try to keep prepping to some degree.
He might even try an EMP burst over Guam, thinking he’ll blind some things.
At some point, SMIII’s are probably going to have to engage some of his launches. Hoo-boy.
I think Trump should send a message to the NK military (by broadcast into NK from satellite and over radio if they block regular channels) saying to the top brass that they need to remove the Fat Kid from power, because he is endangering them and all the people of their country, as well as the people of neighboring countries. Tell them if they do, we will work with them and China to transition to a stable society that is not in danger of invasion and can become wealthy as China has.
I think it is a longshot, but what I like about it is that even if the top military are trustworthy and would not do it, it will make Kim crazy with paranoia, and he will start killing all his top people.
They would likely invade SK at the same time and try out their emp satellite.
