I think the GOP will pick up Senate seats which will force the GOP Senate to act for the Trump agenda.

We need a MAGA party—flush the rino’s

Boy, would that be a bold move -- creating a new party.

But it's too early for that idea. Better wait until 2020. By that time, our social media networks will be strong. By that time, we won't need CNN, NYTimes, ABC, etc.

We'll have our own strong media networks! With that sort of equalizer, you can bet that a new MAGA or American party would be doable.

It seems even if we lower it to 51 we still have GOP senators who will defect.

Mitch doesn't know how to punish defectors like the Democrats do.

If Moore gets over 51% can he avoid a runoff?

You happen to be completly wrong aboit McConnell. He has in fact accomplished alot. The problem is you fail to see it. Heis a leftist and supports the leftist agenda and opposes the conservative agenda.

The RNC supported her, not him in that election.

I was going to vote for Moe, but now I’m changing to Roy.

I think Roy is a guy we need, much like Trump. I didn’t think Trump should have been the nominee, but after the Mexican Wall and McCain smack-downs in 2015, I realized he was JUST what we needed: A fighter.

I see Moore in the same light now.

No more pleasant speaking milque toasts. Hoary, in-your-face, fire-spittin’ fighters are what we need!

As far as Alabama goes, the media can bring up any controversy they want, but Alabamians generally go the OPPOSITE way the media calls things.

In other words, Moore is well-known, so there really is nothing new they can bring up on him we haven’t heard already. Kind of like Trump.

“I like Roy Moore but, I think that he brings unnecessary political baggage with him.”

So being a man who loves his God and respects His teachings is called “unnecessary baggage” in your mind? Mo Brooks may be a good and decent man, and if he wins, good on Alabama. But to say because Moore has stood up for his Christian beliefs more than once, is a reason to discount his candidacy is sad. I just hope that the GOPe doesn’t “win” with Luther Strange.

Mitch doesn’t want his nice cushy position to be upset with actual work for his constituents.

It is time for Mr. Pence to take up his constitutional authority which the VP’s of the US have ignored for so long. Mr. Pence has the constitutional authority to run the Senate, change the rules, set the agenda, etc. If you are or were ever a C-Span watcher you would note that when a senator speaks, he always begins his speech with “Mr. President.” That President he is speaking to is the VP of the United States, or his represenative. Too long, the Vice Presidents have been relegated to going to funerals of foreign dignitaries. The framers of the constitution did not intend for the VP to be a figurehead, it is actually meant to be a powerful position. The VP, the president of the Senate, is supposed to be, the “Speaker” of the House” for the Senate. I hope Mr. Trump and Mr. Pence decide to go this route and just bypass Sen. McConnell. I know that Senator Cruz has spoken to both of them about this. Mr. Pence needs to do this. If he did, he truly would be the second most powerful person in Washington.

Stood up in what way?

I’d like to see a rousing sermon from Roy about the urgency to love one another, love one another, catch all the love you can from God and do it.

Doing it just ONCE would make up for all his legalism of the past.

These Lawmakers like McConnell need to just substitute “the people” for the name “Trump”

“Trump’s” expectations are the ones “the people” voted for

In fact. these guys in Congress are so clueless and lmisled by fake news and fake polls, they just still don’t get it

Trump is “THE PEOPLE”

Not the fruits and nuts wearing vagina hats and showing up to disrupt colleges and congressional town halls- the REAL PEOPLE

Trump needs to start playing the long game. Now. He needs to set up an outside the GOP political org. Let Don Junior run it. Then invite GOP Senators to dinner at the White House and make it clear they will pay a heavy, heavy price to their political careers if they continue to sand bagging him.

That’d be something!

The democrats are eager to throw out tradition and go with what’s new, trendy and shiny, but you know in a heartbeat that they’d be *aghast* at this break from TRADITION!

And the media would jump in with both feet.

Mitch McConnell is now blasting Trump for having "excessive expectations" and "artificial deadlines" for getting anything done.

Welcome to the 'real', business world, you government do-nothing drone.

The GOP house and senate are to blame for its do nothing approach.
Not Trump.
