“Yurtle really needs to go...

Why is he “the leader” of the GOP when he is such an obvious crap-for-brains????”

Yeah he’s really a stand up guy isn’t he. Just the kind you’d want as a platoon leader on Iwo Jima or D Day.

Excessive expectations...like repealing Obamacare or confirming Trumps appointments? Any expectations are apparently too much for turdle.

We should have Obamacare repeal and tax reform by now and working on the next fix of Obama’s damage. We’ll be lucky to have anything by 2020 with these utterly useless lazy bastards.

Its getting to that point isn’t it? I’m damn near as beside myself with politics as I was during the Obama reign of terror. A nuke would sober up the democrats and RINOS for 5 minutes then back to the same old shit with what is left. The south tried to warn us of the wrongness of the all powerful central government.

Dems will ditch the 60 votes next time they have a chance so we might as well strike first. That probably wouldn’t even help us with the likes of McShame, Mudcowski and colons still in place.

Although he did the country a huge favor by blocking Merrick Flowergarland from SCOTUS and getting Gorsuch through. He must get credit for that.

McConnell is feeling the pressure. Eventually it does get to him and he responds to it. Keep up the pressure and he will sense the inevitability of his need to act and do the right thing.

“The US Senate has become our very own House of Lords. The Founders are spinning.”

Bingo.

The way the Founders designed the Republic, the Senators were elected by the state legislatures.

Since 1912, upon ratification of the 17th amendment, senators are elected through state-wide popular vote.

One profound effect of this change is that senate candidates may choose to forego campaigning in less population dense rural districts, and concentrate their efforts on the voter rich urban and suburban districts.

This dynamic naturally favors Democrats and liberal Republicans who campaign on “progressive” platforms built around redistributive and regulatory “reforms” promising social justice, economic equality and affirmative action - issues that appeal to voters in population dense urban centers.

Rural voters, who care about limited government, economic freedom, religious freedom, equal protection, 2nd amendment, right to life, right to work - these voters are largely ignored by senate candidates of either party, because they are spread out thinly over a vast area, and due to their integrity, their votes cannot be bought with false promises and redistributative largesse.

In effect, even senate candidates running as Republicans focus their campaigns on the big voter rich cities within their states, as the Democrats do. The result: a senate which is split between Democrats and RINOs.

This man is disgusting.

If the Republicans had agreed on and had a replacement bill ready from the ‘get go’ healthcare would be out of the way. But no, they just went through the motions of sending a repeal bill and continued to blame Obama. I am still absolutely po’ed at the deception.

These people have been in the government sector too long without accountability. Their excuse of failure to their voters was “we don’t have the Senate” then “ we don’t have the Presidency”. They have been given them H of R, Senate, and Presidency and have not even put all of Trump’s appointees in office.

Now the excuse is Trump and his supporters expect too much too soon. I am so full of anger after watching his blubbering excuses.

Mitch and his minions are ineffective and lazy.

“McConnell is stalling and delaying as much as he can. The man’s globalist puppet strings are getting harder for him to hide. You got a choice to make McTurtle between your globalist handlers and the people of this country. We already know who you’re choosing. Time to investigate his sorry behind too!”

Fervently agree!

Completely agree!

Those guys were rooting for Hillary and would have no qualms with losing the majority.

They think that they will be able to rebuild the GOP, but if it goes back to the Establishment GOP, it is finished.

If Graham is so unpopular, why does he keep getting elected?

Unfortunately, South Carolina has open primaries which allow voters to forsake their registered political party. This allows tons of RATS to cross over and vote for linda. If there is a primary runoff, this action by the RATS guarantees linda a win.

In the general election we'll have linda, who is there mainly because of RAT crossover votes, running against whoever the RATS can come up with. SC is a VERY red state, thus the republican will win the election. This strategy has been used very effectively by linda. He's virtually guaranteed a seat for life because of this.

The solution to this is for our state congresscritters to grow some balls and pass legislation outlawing open primaries. That prolly won't happen any time soon.
