Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz never actually saw the computer she fought to block the Capitol Police from examining as evidence in a criminal case against her IT aide by saying it was hers, she told the South Florida Sun-Sentinel Thursday.
“This was not my laptop. I have never seen that laptop. I don’t know what’s on the laptop,” she said Thursday. She said it was Imran’s laptop but purchased using taxpayer funds from her office.
The Sun-Sentinel said she has refused to speak personally about the issue until now, and quoted her as saying “I’ve been on vacation,” she said. “I’m not hiding, and I have no reason to hide.”

Then if need be anyone who knew it was there could just stroll up, remove it and act like no big thing. I have been to that building and there is a lot going on and people to and fro
Could even be the old bag switch model with a duplicate laptop to DWS, only the serial number would be different but to the unpracticed/disinterested eye it would be “hers” Hence her whining about “her” laptop...

Just passing on what I read. I did hear Wexler was also involved earlier than DWS. Not sure if Meeks was before or after Wexler. Added thought: Wexler was a real POS.
What do you think about the location of the laptop? I believe it was there to make recordings and at some point Awan had to leave it there due to “heat”. Then it was found and all started to panic.
