...Meanwhile Comey and Mueller have set up the President for losses in the 2018 elections....

It’s the same playbook used against Sheriff Joe. Jam up Trump with nothingburger allegations and keep it before a prosecuter.

I note the DOJ crooks are spending all of their time on the Trump Russia nothingburger, while they slow walk all of the REAL Hillary crimes (because the DOJ crooks are part of those crimes)

I note this muh Russia fantasy does not flame out like the real crimes of Fast and Furious, Benghazi, IRS and slow lerner, etc, etc.
Funny that!

Initially I dialed up Stepinawfulpis so I could hear the Kellyanne interview, so I missed FNS's first segment, but I just heard the Rosenstein interview with Walice on a replay on the radio.

we have Mueller with 16 dem lawyers all looking for anything they can create a perjury trap on or a phony obstruction charge.

Rosie stated that Mueller cannot go outside the parameters of the original scope without the acting AG signing off on it.

Meanwhile, DWS and Awan have been spying on our govt. for 13 years, ripping it off, selling stolen cars for years to Africa, for 3 years, involved in a car ring, murder, the many crimes of Bubba and Hillary all the lies by obama

Rosie said at the DOJ "we follow the law" . He said Trump has good professional people heading the department, and when they have a full leadership staff they will be even more effective. Regarding the President's rally remarks (that DOJ should be looking at Hillary/DNC criminality) as an order; he said that he considered that to be a public remark, and the President gives the DOJ their orders privately.

Yes, I was astonished that ALL GOP Senators voted against Trump on the recess appointment moritorium, and also overwhelmingly voted against his ability to modify sanctions placed by Congress on the newly minted axis of Iran, Russia, China and North Korea.

I mean ALL! Mike Lee? Ted Cruz? Chuck Grassley? Rand Paul? Jim Demint? WTH?

Seems Afghanistan produces 85% of the worlds poppys/heroin,north Korea is getting in on the poppy business which will supplement its conterfitting operation.
You can't tell me the CIA could not destroy these fields that are out in the open in weeks if they wanted.Instead they are undoubtedly part of the ratline that runs the huge ooperatinon that George Webb says winds up in offut Air force base in Nebraska.
Webb then proceeds to . . . illustrate how the drug-running between Afghanistan and Punjab, to Pakistan, to Turkey’s Incirlik airbase to NATO, in Mons, Belgium.

Webb says, large military transport planes, like C-130s are used to transfer raw opium from Afghanistan to Pakistan, where they are refined into opioid medications, which are then contracted-out by mobbed-up doctors, to places like the VA (US Department of Veterans Affairs), where these generic drugs (usually watered-down to half- or quarter-strength) are distributed from Belgium.

He says information about all of the above can be found in the Congressional Blackberry phone network.

He describes these activities as, ‘Just Mena [Arkansas] Airport, on a global scale, just longer distances…It’s very simple: drugs go one way, arms go the other way….’ Half of the cargo gets left in Belgium and the rest comes to the US. In the past, he’s mentioned Offut Air Force Base in Nebraska, as well as an airport in Rockford, Illinois, where drugs were smuggled in shipments of mangoes and Basmati rice. Except that instead of the $1 million per day worth of cocaine being brought in at Mena, Webb claims, in an another one of his blizzard of micro-posts, that Offut AFB receives $1 billion per day (!) in opioids.”

WASHINGTON —
The world's No. 1 opium-producing country, Afghanistan, is braced for an exploding poppy harvest this year, as farmers are cultivating the illicit crop in areas where it has never grown before.

“Unfortunately, the narcotics production is on the rise this year,” Javed Qaem, Afghan deputy counternarcotics minister, told international donors in Kabul Tuesday. “We are concerned that narcotics would increase this year, including in areas and provinces where previously we had zero opium production.”

A new United Nations survey said Friday the total area under opium poppy cultivation in Afghanistan has increased by 10 percent, from 183,000 to 201,000 hectares, compared to the previous year, leading to a significant rise in the production of illicit opium. The illicit drug is fueling insecurity, violence and insurgency among other problems to discourage private and public investment in Afghanistan, the U.N. Office on Drugs and Crime said in its survey report.

Qaem’s comments come amid growing international concern that the Taliban, who are fighting Afghan government troops in rural areas of the country, are fueling the poppy trade by engaging in trafficking and skimming hundreds of millions dollars in profit to fuel their militancy.

Taliban insurgents, according to U.S. officials, net 60 percent of their war chest from narcotics.

Afghanistan is thought to produce an estimated 90 percent of the world's heroin. As poppy cultivation spikes, U.S. intelligence officials warn that the war-torn country is likely to see more armed violence this year.

“The intelligence community assesses that the political and security situation in Afghanistan will almost certainly deteriorate through 2018, even with a modest increase in [the] military assistance by the United States and its partners,” U.S. Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats said in a Senate hearing last week.

Remains to be seen whether or not the msm can keep it all rolling.Little of this is being done by the dems, they don't have the resources. They are broke and broken. They alienated over half of their base when they destroyed Bernie Sanders. If they did not have the drivebys constantly shilling for them courtesy of operaion Mockingbird they would be out of business.

I think if we decide to stay in Afghanistan, we need to come up with a policy...

IOW, define an overall strategy.

Then, set up a military chain of command with authority, men and materiel to carry it out and with direct responsibility to the President.

Last, but maybe most important of all, identify any person or entity who attempts to interfere with and/or profit by this campaign and sent their butts to a really nasty prison for the duration. (Oh, how many times I've wished that had been the case for 'Nam...or since.)

RG, as you are well aware they had poppy fields way before we ever went in there. Those cave dwellers aren’t worth one more American life. And being the coarse soul I am, there isn’t much pity in me for all those who decide life is good on drugs.

I have been claiming that there are loads of bad seeds, deep state, cabal types in the CIA,FBI,NSA and other agencies but also lots of good guys who really care about America in the same agencies.

Is that accurate from your perspective?

I really don’t know.I’m not up on Calif. politics and who runs the elections out there. But it does appear someone needs to clean the state up. Appears voter fraud is in the millions.

Problem is you pay either way.Either by destroying the poppy fields or paying for the damage done by those hooked on heroin, either way we pay.
With pot coming on so strong and some thinkging its just a gateway drug to bigger and better, might be a good time to destroy the poppy fields or at least the ratline that brings it to the US.

Is it instinctive, or does Trump realize we’ll never win in Afghanistan, given the current strategy?

I guess it is how do you define "win."

I think if we decide to stay in Afghanistan, we need to come up with a policy defining just what we are doing there, and for how long, what the milestones are, and which milestone we’ll use to finally leave.

We are still in Korea, Germany, and Japan.

Barely watch the Sunday morning shows anymore but I caught this exchange between Georgie and Kellyanne. Went to comment at the This Week Facebook page. TDS appears to have spilled over onto Kellyanne. Most comments babbling about not having her on the show anymore. The hatred is palpable. No wonder I don’t watch anymore.
