Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., said Republican candidates with their eyes on a White House run may be seriously considering the prospect of challenging President Donald Trump in 2020 because they "see weakness," The Hill reported Saturday.

"They see weakness in this president," McCain told The New York Times. "Look, it's not a nice business we're in."

The Times reported Saturday that Republican Sens. Tom Cotton of Arkansas and Ben Sasse of Nebraska, GOP Ohio Gov. John Kasich, and even Vice President Mike Pence could be laying the groundwork for a White House run in 2020.

McCain hasn't been shy about criticizing the president and has broken ranks with Trump as well as fellow Republicans on key issues. Most recently, he voted against the Senate GOP's "skinny" Obamacare repeal bill and on Thursday lambasted the president over his handling of the war in Afghanistan.

McCain would do himself a huge favor by just STHU in his last days.

Depending on the stage of the tumor, life expectancy is anywhere from a few months to five years. The average life expectancy for patients over 60 is about 1 - 2 years. An adult (below 40) is likely to live with the cancer for more than 5 years.

I’ve never hoped for someone to be debilitated enough to not be able work. This time, right here, right now, for the good of the country, my abstinence ends.

McCain is till pissed Trump said he was not a hero. And it’s true. McCain was a survivor. Many soldiers survive wars. You don’t get hero status for surviving.

It will be a great day when McCain is no longer trying to be the Republican President. Hopefully his days are numbered. Besides, at this point of his life shouldn’t he be spending his time with his family?

I’ll take this prognostication from a corrupt senator and failed presidential candidate for what it’s worth ... which is $0.00 at best.

Die already, McInsane.

I agree. McCain is guilty of collusion with the democrats to produce the fake dossier created the British spy. From what I understand, he did pass it to FBI Director James Comey.

I wish I’d stayed home in 2008. What a loser. Couldn’t even win Indiana. Anyway, I voted for Palin. Glad the lame days are over and that we don’t get turd candidates anymore.
