The State of Washington, where I live, was into a discussion about education revenues and the feds about 15 years ago. I put forth a question on these boards asking why do we give an amount of money to the feds with a question, so they can send back about 10% of it with an answer as to how to do something that we end up funding to get it done anyway? But by their funding about 3% of the education needs nationally, it opens the door for them to have a say in our education that they should have nothing to do with so they can’t flood the minds of kids with “I have two mommies” or transgender thoughts to children less than 10 years old. I said at the time, give them half of what we were paying them to shut up, and apply the increase to local resources and treat it like a n answer fee saying that’s what you get. Take it or leave it.

Yes control. When i wa sin 11 grade we debated national subject at all the tournaments. “Should there be federal aid to education.” I always wanted the opposing side because it seems so obvious then.

I have read the feds spend 25-27% on administrative costs for money that assent to the states. What ever it is it’s too much. At least they don’t use the Clinton Foundation LOL
