A chief problem for her and her company is that Donald Trump has an inspirational side, however much he irritates the Democrats with barbs.

Still maybe it might apply. Fundamentally anti-patriotic talk in the political sphere needs to be rewarded, not with criminal sanctions, but with ejection from the political sphere. The First Amendment grants the right to tell either political truths or political lies. It doesn’t, however, guarantee the political consequence of doing so.
Strictly speaking she’s rebelling against it.
It wouldn’t be the first such rebellion.
