Stories like this remind me of that hysterical report on the “Today” show about ten years ago when they were trying fabricate a dramatic story about heavy flooding in New Jersey after a major storm. The NBC reporter was paddling around in a canoe on camera, and in the middle of her report a couple of guys walked in front of the camera from left to right. The water was about six inches deep. LMAO.
Probably drove around all morning looking for water deep enough to float a boat.
