President Donald Trump is coming under verbal fire after reportedly insulting the White House.
“That White House is a real dump,” the president reportedly told members of his Trump National Golf Course in Bedminster, New Jersey, according to Golf Magazine.
That didn’t sit well with many of Trump’s critics, including at least one previous resident of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
Former first daughter Chelsea Clinton wrote:
Thank you to all the White House ushers, butlers, maids, chefs, florists, gardeners, plumbers, engineers & curators for all you do every day

Thank you to all the White House ushers, butlers, maids, chefs, florists, gardeners, plumbers, engineers & curators for all you do every day Hey Chelsea, you forgot to mention the people that washed the towels that came from the Oval Office after one of you daddy's closed door meetings ( Or the uniformed secret service agent who was on duty outside the office, who was so disgusted, that he threw out the stained towels with lipstick next to the stain, so the staff wouldn't have to handle them )

Shipnuck published a report about Trump’s golfing hobby in Sports Illustrated this week, which included the revelation that Trump called the president’s house a “real dump” compared to his New Jersey country club.
Not quite the same as just calling it a dump, which is how it is being reported.
Shipnuck didn't hear it. It was relayed to him.
