I find this hard to believe and don’t see enough evidence to make it legally true. Maybe, and that’s a maybe, thirty years ago in OC.

That area is very Asian, and there are a lot of Asians who have bought investment properties. I would bet the landlords were of that ethnicity—they are very racist.

Santa Ana had a fair sized black community in the ‘60s. Eventually the tsunami of illegal immigration drove them out. There were black families in Tustin with MCAS El Toro. OC was largely white because most aerospace engineers were white and OC was where many of them lived, in the distant past when SoCal had an aerospace industry and OC hadn’t become a colony of the 3rd world.

Considering how multi-culti Irvine is I wouldn’t be surprised if the anti-black faction are mostly recent immigrants. Because that’s what a large part of Irvine’s population is.
