Lost 33 pounds and had a little more to go. Have been working with a local health and wellness program and monitored dieting.

Very happy and dropped two clothing sizes. Going to try to drop another size or two. I have decided to be a little too little than a little too big.

Using low to moderate calorie high protein, moderate fate low carb diet.

Your diet tips always welcome.

Diet trick no one believes- price your calories!
It gives a second negative aspect to excess calories.
They make you fat AND they waste your money!
It's a mind trick that works.

BTW a healthy diet costs 25 to 40 (and up) cents per hundred calories depending on one's taste and inclination.

Fast for 18 hrs a day, and never drink your food (unless it’s alcohol and then only spirits). Single ingredient foods no artificial sweeteners period. Strength training to increase lean body mass (so you can eat more food). Lost 80 pounds, and now due to increased lean body mass, I loose weight if I don’t eat enough in the 6 hour window.

Twelve years ago I lost 110 pounds.

Want to be thin?

Get in the pool every single day. Swim!

Eat whatever you like, it doesn’t matter. Swim!

Cogratulations...I got recommended the Caveman diet by Dr. Jonathan Wright...I was always hungry...oatmeal in a.m. made me hungry...lost 20 lbs about 4 yrs ago..more protein & fat...few carbs....put back on about 5 now...just convinced my husband to start fasting...problem is everytime I say Fast my brain tells me I’ll starve...trying to overcome that.

Sixteen years ago I went low carb (insulin sparing). Now, for a little over a year I have moved to a ketonic diet. I cyclically fast and have incorporated 260 calories a day of MCTs (caprylic and capric acid) and ketones. Also added inulin to the diet to increase short chain fatty acids.

MCTs are unique. The metabolism is "only" a three stage process (passage to portal vein to liver) for production of ketones. Ketones are the preferred fuel for brain, cardiac and general muscle. MCTs are also insulin neutral and do not effect any other metabolic processes during fasting as long chain fatty acids do.

I'm still struggling with 6 to 7 lbs of excess adipose, however it is not noticeable to anyone but myself.

Congrats! I’ve lost some but I’m in hospital now. :-(

Got my gallbladder out today. The gallbladder condition predates the diet, but it sure got aggravated over the weekend.

I also plan to keep going with the weight loss. I’ve added fasting to my plan and it works for me.

I highly recommend any YouTube vids by Dr Jason Fung, and his book The Obesity Code. Good stuff.

I am using a UNIQUE approach called the “Morgan Street Pride Diet.”

Started at 236lbs and have lost 3 lbs per week for last 5 weeks.

Here’s how:

My best friend and I text each other everything that we consume. No judgements, just report it to each other. Has a chilling effect.

I don’t eat till noon and finish eating at 8:00pm.

I have small sandwich at lunch and limit calories to 550 for dinner.

I also exercize by walking on treadmill or equivalent 2-6 miles per day. Results are amazing. For details, jmonteen@gmail.com

I'm surprised no one had yet mentioned "Whole 30".

Hey it worked for me. 40 pounds, 38 to 32 pants, XL to L shirts. Pretty simple. Look it up, you don't need fancy diets, no books, no weighing or calorie counting, and ( important), you do not go hungry.

Congrats to you and nice job. There is no magic pill and no substitute for quantifying what you eat and exercising. Keep up the great effort. Hard work pays off.

proper amount and quality sleep is also an important part of weight loss and maintenance - it’s got connections to the body properly using the foods taken in and helps with having proper various chemical levels in the body including gremlin and cortisol which can get wacky and effect weight/appetite.

I’ve also lost 33 pounds and have a little more to go. Down two sizes by watching what I eat. I started the day Trump took office, finding myself happy in my mind, body and soul for first time in many, many years!

I have Hashimoto’s Thyroid.

Difficult to lose weight. And add a couple of kids along the way and a couple of miscarriages. So I’ve gained & lost. But never really get over 20-25 pounds over weight. But still.

Whole 30. Haven’t seen it mentioned. Love it. No Dairy. No sugar. No grains. And try to abstain from the alcohol, wine and craft styled beer.

I have to exercise 2-3 times a day. Keep the metabolism going.

Not easy. Hopefully THIS time I won’t gain it all back. 125-130 is my ideal weight.
