I don’t get the reaction by liberals.
Historically, the term used was illegal aliens. That changed as the liberals have changed language to be politically correct. Now they are just going back to the historic term. What’s wrong with that?
I understand liberals and PC types are upset, but all they are doing is restoring the language which had been used in the past.
I’m outraged also. The DOJ should call them CRIMINAL illegal aliens.

LIEberals use the same tactics as mudslimes: the ratchet effect. If they gain possession for one second, they have perpetual rights to it. Once they have an entitlement, they have perpetual rights to it. If one spends time searching, one will find many examples of that MO in lots of things LIEberals do.

Communists have long sought to create the “new man” which requires completely wiping out all memory of the way things used to be. Think “Memory Hole” and “Doublespeak” in 1984.
This is why so many one-common and useful, classical words like “gay,” “queer” and even “liberal” have been taken over and completely corrupted.
Abolishing “illegal alien” is part of the bigger communist project.
They always respond with Newton's obscure political law for liberals with respect to conservatives:
"For every action there is an over-reaction".
The left has used PC language to try to make people think illegal aliens are immigrants.
They can’t be immigrants because they did not apply to be immigrants.
Fraudulently documented foreigners is closer to the truth, but the truth is anathema to the left.
