A new company is helping conservative Californians emigrate to Texas, where they can enjoy lower taxes, better economic opportunities, and friendlier politics. Fox News reports that former Republican congressional candidate Paul Chabot has founded a company, Conservative Move, that helps would-be emigrants sell their homes in the Golden State and find new ones in the Lone Star State, and also helps them find a good-paying job in their new home.
Chabots prospective clients include those who, like him, have concluded that California has no future for them:
"While California during the 1980s and early 1990s was anything but serene there was the crack cocaine epidemic, widespread tensions between the African-American community and the police and a rash of homelessness, just to name a few issues Chabot argues that unlike that time, it is almost impossible to maintain the type of middle-class existence he had during his childhood. He added that things like rising taxes, legalized marijuana, gun restrictions, sanctuary cities and declining public schools have all added to the disappearance of the state he once knew."
California is no longer the representation of the American Dream, he said. California has fallen morally on so many levels.
In addition, the two states have completely different views of governments role with Californians preferring high taxes and heavy regulations, and Texas preferring the opposite. California conservatives are attracted to the Texan philosophy and Chabot hopes to help them find more hospitable surroundings.

Texas governors have also been poaching California companies for years most notably Toyota, which has moved from Torrance in Los Angeles to Plano, Texas. Some 9,000 companies reportedly left California between 2008 and 2015 many of them heading to Texas.

Bang up job, Moonbeam!
Better than the Libs moving to Texas.
How much of this is the CA legislature encouraging an exodus of leaders and patriots, making reclamation by mehico easier, their end game?
Interesting. Looks like it’s just Texas for now, but they plan to add destination counties across America.
Californication “conservatives” are libtards...
Now, if they could only get the liberals in Austin and San Antonio to move to California, Texas would pretty much be perfect.
*** Better than the Libs moving to Texas. ***
I am sure I will get some flak, but a lot of the Conservative Californians that I have met are not that conservative by Hill Country Texas standards.
Problem is, after they foul their nest in California, they often bring their political ideas with them.
Words I used to hear, and HATE, from northern retirees who moved to the South were...”That’s not the way we do it in Chicagah!” “You need more Unions here!”

This is a bad idea. Way too many California ideas will pop up. They can’t help themselves. Soon it’ll be, “but in California we had this interesting way of.....”
I've been in the San Fagsicko Bay Area Bolshevik cesspool for over 70 years, and what you say is true, but be aware that from the mid 60's on, California natives heard the constant refrain: "That's not the way we do it in Baston, New Yawk, Batmore, or Noie Joisey.
All Crapifornia problems were imported from North Eastern Liberal Socialist Commie States by carpetbagger DemoRats.
Also excepting the coast and LA County, rural working California is common sense conservative, but not rock hard Conservative. Unfortunately, the coastal Prog vermin population runs roughshod over all of CA rural counties.
That said, I'm leaving too, the only fix for Californicate is disaster.

Take it back a step. The “nest foulers” here in CA are, for the most part originally from the Northeast $hit States. Babs Boxer was from Brooklyn and Nazy Pelousey is from Baltimore. The came here because, weather wise, it’s probably the nicest place in the country to live. But you are right, some of them, after crapping up CA, have started a “remigration” eastward. And of course, they abetted the influx of Mexicans here and in other Western states as well. The truth of the matter however is that no state is exempt from what they’ve done here, so I’d advise you that live where things are currently sane, to take a look around and understand that the Liberal Takeover comes a whole lot faster than you realize. Twenty years ago, CA was first in the nation in just about everything and was run by Republicans. Now it’s last in almost everything with RATs and Mexican RATs having taken over.
And the LibDems to leave Dallas, El Paso & Fort Worth.
Austin is full of Communists and drug addicts.
>>>Californication conservatives are libtards<<<
I have lived in Southern CA for nearly 60 Years. The CA that my Father moved us to is nothing like today’s CA.
Back in the 70’s I drove around town in my 4x4 Ford Pickup with two Rifles in the Gun Rack and nobody batted an eye. We used to run up to the Mountains when we had the urge to fire off a few Rounds. We were FREE.
Today I dare to drive around Southern CA in my Dodge Challenger sporting “TRUMP 45” Vanity License Plates.
I have recently been accosted by a upset Mexican fellow who has an issue with my President, but for the most part I have received positive responses.
Lately it seems that I am getting more glares than thumbs up and my Wife fears for my Safety, as well as the Health of my Car’s Paint Job.
It seems the DemoncRats and the Media’s drive to turn Conservatives into the Berlin Jews of the 1930’s is succeeding here.
Liberalism is nothing but a slow growing Cancer that has taken over its Host. Don’t blame the Healthy Cells who are trying to fight off the Cancer, like a certain person who owns the premier Conservation discussion Site on the Interweb.
You owe some fellow CA FReepers an apology.
Notice to these companies - I hope you are not also moving your liberal Californian workforce with you.
I agree, save for Jim.
