Utter nonsense.

Not only is Sessions doing a great job, but we saw our first crack in the left indicating they know what’s coming soon.

http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/wireStory/clinton-lost-republicans-investigate-48932816

This is YUGE. It says that the left now needs to defend Cankles from ARREST because they know indictments are coming. Now, the article says “House.” I think it’s DOJ. The leaker gave the story to AP—and almost certainly the leaker is himself/herself being investigated and likely already was called in.

They know if they use the words “DOJ” or “special investigator” that 1) the remaining “muh Russia” thing collapses entirely and 2) those not yet in the dragnet will panic and sing.

So here we have AP beginning its defense of why Cankles should not go to jail. Wait, I thought Sessions was incompetent, lazy, ineffective?

Exactly what the 4D chess players have wanted you to think from the beginning while they-—with a very, very small, tight leakproof team-—have managed all these multiple investigations (Awan, Congress Ds, DWS, Lynch, Comey, Yeats, Lerner, Cankles). It has to be quiet, and the smaller the team, the longer it takes to prepare all the legal work.

The first case, as I keep saying, will NOT be Cankles. But whoever it is, the case must be air tight. If Sessions fails in the first case, all the others get weaker. If he wins, all the others flip like pancakes.

Sessions is a good man. If fact too nice of gentleman.

We need a junk yard dog at AG. That is not Jeff Sessions.
He is a great and honorable man. But he isn’t a junk yard dog.

Rosenstein will pick another Muellar type as Special Counsel, who will then pack his investigation team with donor Democrat attorneys to go after HRC and her Justice Dept protectors? Hope not.

Yes. Your theory about a small close knit team that has been working on building a case in secret all along could very well be true. Supporting evidence would be the way Trump came out months ago with his tweet about Obama spying on him. How did he know so many months ahead of time before the evidence became public and vindicated him? Hmmm. Kind of makes you think.

God, I hope you're right, Larry, but, given the cowardice of the GOP in general, I have serious doubts about some of this "sunshine" you're beaming. I'll believe it when I see it.

Also, I don't see the word "arrest" or "indict" in the article. What specific part of the article implies this to you?.

And please don't tell me I have to watch the video clip of John Podesta that's embedded in the page.

You certainly deserve kudos for painting such a rosy picture, and I hope you're right. You displayed excellent instincts and insight in the leadup to the election, and have continued to do so since.

I do remain somewhat skeptical regarding your "take" on AG Sessions, however, and the President's level of satisfaction with him, and I must confess to some lingering concerns of my own—concerns which you seem to dismiss outright.

Having said all that, I'm going to defer to your analysis for the time being, and join with you in remaining optimistic, albeit cautiously so...

Yes. This is the new meme for the Pravda:

The GOP is engaging in partisan politics because they want to investigate Hillary’s crimes even after she lost. (as if her crimes should be forgiven because she lost).

Pretty pathetic. Very weak and desperate. I love the sight of lying leftist traitors in a panic. It makes my day.

Check out Stephen Boyd. He has passed committee and is waiting (along with Chris Wray) for senate confirmation. Once confirmed either can be shifted to another position iirc

He has worked with Sessions before. Another Alabama gentleman

Even the headline is defensive: “Don’t these meanies realize Hillary LOST and they should let her skate?” is what it means.

I wonder, LS, who is on the “small team” you mention. Also, don't you think the AG reports to the CIC on these investigations? It has been confusing to imagine a normal Cabinet Secy working relationship with Trump after the recusal. This week's tweets added to my confusion. Normally, a Pres. talks to his AG privately. But with the Mueller situation, I gather that Trump is avoiding any conversation with Sessions. Not buying this was all cheese in the maze. Next week's moves may clear up the confusion.
