In a brief interview with the Wall Street Journal, President Trump ripped into Attorney General Sessions once again. This time, the President cut even deeper, suggesting Sessions endorsed him because of Trumps success as a candidate, not out of loyalty.
President Donald Trump expressed his disappointment in Attorney General Jeff Sessions on Tuesday and questioned the importance of Mr. Sessionss early endorsement of Mr. Trumps candidacy, but the president declined to say whether he planned to fire him.
Its not like a great loyal thing about the endorsement, Mr. Trump said in an interview with The Wall Street Journal. Im very disappointed in Jeff Sessions.
While the President is still mum on his plans concerning Sessions, Scaramucci told NBC News a decision on the AGs future will be made shortly.

The problem with Sessions is he is not going after Hillary.
I will!
Just as soon as you link me to the post where you predicted doom and gloom on Dustin Hoffman.
Until then, you’re still batting zero.
How is that an attack? I asked you a few questions.
New thread just posted on this very same topic...Hope he follows through with his warning...
How pathetic you are, trying to change what you asked for. NO, the above it what you requested a link for.
Show me where I said Sessions informed Trump of his recusal decision, or maybe stop making yourself look silly, and stop asking for links for statements never made.
You are kidding me right?
President Trump was involved in all the decision process of keeping Jess Session in the senate seat for the votes they needed and then scheduling his hearing.
The transition team had planned the probable areas of questioning and discussed them and they were unable to accomplish anything at justice until Sessions was confirmed.
There was a great push to get Sessions through the hearings with a lot of Presidential input at that point but President Trump was too busy to be briefed and it was no one’s responsibility with all those white house lawyers?
Thanks for that. I went digging, based on your lead. Just for the thread ...
Republican lawmakers rally around Sessions as Trump intensifies pressure | Reuters
That one cites "Two allies of Sessions," and the way i read the report, they are giving their impression, without telling us how they got it. Not saying they are wrong, just analyzing the report.
Republican lawmakers rally around Sessions as Trump intensifies pressure | Reuters
Nearly the same article, but a different URL.
Trump slams Sessions as not tough enough - The West Australian
Appears to be a slight modificaiotn of Reuters, but cites "Two people close to Sessions"
What have I been wrong about.. you said everything.
back it up
For starters..not wrong about money laundering investgations
Or trump and Jr being involved with snitch and money launderer Sater
Or that ivanka is a lib and so is jared..with lib beliefs
Manafort was sued along with a man named semion by a prime minister
I would sweat manafort for all knows...but probably wont tell because he has dealt with some bad money laundering mofos
Google it. Fbi investigating manafort..daughter and son in law. Hoffman a victim.
Of course..you might be an idiot and dont know how to do a 5 second search
You also said that Jared and Ivanka were going to keep us in the Paris climate deal, and you were wrong, and crazy about that.
As to Don Jr. ffft. Once again, you missed badly as you display your nuttiness.
AS to lib beliefs, you display their fuzzy headed thinking style more than anyone else on this forum lately.
Go pound sand somewhere else please. Yes, everything a far as I've seen.
The two allies of Sessions said the attorney general, who was the first Republican senator to back Trump's presidential campaign, has been deeply offended by the public berating from his boss, but his resolve to stay is strong.
Right before this quote, the "Session allies" state that they believe it is an effort by Trump to get Sessions to "step down."
Whether it's a quote or just an impression, if real it means that Sessions knows Trump wants him to resign but is resisting the will of the President. The idea that Sessions is "offended" but "staying strong", even as a mere impression, is the surest sign of defiance.
Worse, if Sessions is behind these "allies" talking to the media to begin with, to make these statements, it resembles a political response.
That makes Sessions a political opponent!
All of this is inconsistent with Sessions being a humble servant of the President.
It's bizarre, it's inexplicable, but IF real, BIG IF, because we know it's Reuters, it explains why Trump is treating Sessions as a political opponent.
I was mostly focused on the source, "two friends."
I disagree with most of what you post, and will keep a respectful distance.
So much bickering in here about something that no one here really knows what exactly is going on...
Sessions has not done a lot of what some in here feel he should’ve done...(Could be he was told by Trump to hold off on some things)
Trump has said some things that some in here think was completely wrong to say...(Could be they were all said with a purpose in mind that we can’t fathom at this time)
This could be behind the scenes operation that we know nothing about...Or it could be that Trump has exploded on Sessions for his own reasons...
Fact is no one in here, I believe, knows exactly what is going on, but you can be assured that President Trumps knows....
STILL replying??? It’s been about four posts since you said I wouldn’t hear from you again.
A regular man of your word, aren’t you?
/s
If you want to argue for the sake of arguing, knock it off. I said Sessions failed to give Trump a heads up. If you agree, fine. But if you’re just lonely and in need of a posting partner, look elsewhere.
Don jr was dealing with money laundering snitch sater. How do you not know that? Bayrock. He was a snitch at the same time he was dealing with trumps. He claims they knew
Of course you probably dont know a Damn thing about the jody kriss racketeering suit
You show your ignorance by claiming I am lying about things that are so verifiable
Do you even have the foggiest idea of when, how and why Trump and Manafort first met???
It is the only logical position. A normal person at this point would have resigned after being bashed by the President on 3 separate occasions, and if these "allies" are authentic sources, it means Sessions is operating as a political opponent. Disagreeing merely for emotional reasons won't change reality.
Sessions will either resign, or else be fired, assuming there isn't something stopping the President from firing him. Considering Giuliani's name has been floated already, removing Sessions seems to be in the works.
Did you catch this???

It seems Sessions is carrying on with part of his job...
Makes you wonder about the validity of the Trump/Sessions bruhaha...
Could possibly be a smoke screen...Trump has done crazy things before that turned out to be correct.
Anyone find the timing of the new communications hit man being hired and Trump’s slamming of Sessions? I wonder if Trump found out something not too good about Sessions.
We don’t know if Trump asked for Sessions resignation and he refused.
I am not happy with Trump “slamming” Sessions in public.
I think there is more to all of this then we know. Hopefully we’ll find out soon.
