Well, he's either profoundly clueless or profoundly dishonest on that subject. Many people thought Ted Cruz would take the conservative votes in the South, but that didn't happen and Sessions is one of the main reasons.
Does anyone think she'd be willing to fire Rosenstein and then fire Mueller? I think that's what would be necessary if Sessions were gone. If she became AG, I bet she'd have to be confirmed again. Federal judges nominated to a higher court have to be reconfirmed. I guess she could do it as acting AG, or after a recess appointment.
