McCain said he could not vote for this bill, meaning the House bill. This doesn’t rule out voting for what currently constitutes the Senate Republican version of the bill. The Senate Republican version of the bill is about half-way between the House bill and the status quo.
We have 50 possible votes, but this includes 4, I think, Senators who say the Senate Republican version of the bill is too much like Obamacare for them to support. The 50 possible votes may include an equal number of moderates who want it to be even more like Obamacare.
All I will say is that we will see how this plays out.

51 votes includes VP Pence.

Is Senator McCain using the VA or Obamacare for his treatments?
And not one Democrat - of the party of tolerance and openmindedness - votes to even open discussion and debate on the issue - they are a joke......

But the 51-50 Senate vote, a big win for President Trump and Mitch McConnell, is followed by a failed attempt to pass the GOP repeal-and-replace measure.

“Republicans who voted to reject their party’s repeal-and-replace plan were Collins, Murkowski, and Sens. Rand Paul of Kentucky, Bob Corker of Tennessee, Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, Dean Heller of Nevada, Jerry Moran of Kansas, Tom Cotton of Arkansas and Mike Lee of Utah.”
