Sessions offered his resignation before....Trump refused.
Yep. He offers to resign, to recuse himself... doesn’t seem to offer to fight though.
Apparently Trump wants Sessions to go after the many crimes of Hillary Clinton and Sessions is scared to do it. This is the latest from Trump on tweeter. The problem there is within one day of being elected he said the Clintons were “good people” and he was not going to go after her. Can you imagine how good of a president he could be if he could just think before the speaks. Politics is war. He’s finding out the hard way. Pissing off his own party is not the way to do it. Especially when 75% of the party despises you to start with. Nothing more would make the GOP happier than to have President Mike Pence and something tells me that’s a real possibility.
I recall that he did offer to go. I’m not a fan of Trump’s management style. Public humiliation of a guy you hired does nothing but sow concern with your other hires.
