Lol. Good points.
We have the advantage in so many ways. It’s a matter of taking advantage of the advantages. Pun intended.
Exactly. Just look at the Republican field of contenders in 2016. Even though I didn’t like many of them, it was obvious to me that the GOP has a lot more younger faces than the Democrats do.
Better choice.
*ANYONE* supporting civil asset forfeiture is a danger to the republic.
In addition, leave weed to the states and private prisons are a terrible idea.
Rudy will be capable of following Trump’s priorities, not his own culture war.
They believe what they want to believe.
The President can ask his AG to investigate anything he wishes, but he can't order him to do so. Also, during his confirmation hearings, Sessions told the Senate judiciary committee that he would recuse himself from any investigation of Clinton's email server or the Clinton foundation. He claimed that, because he'd called for a Clinton investigation while campaigning with Trump, it would place his objectivity in question.
AG Jeffy.
you tell me has he started any kind of investigation on Hillary?
If he is waiting on permission he has mine.
Get with it.
the president will have to go back on his statement of November 22 that he will not pursue any further investigation of Hillary. “She’s been through enough.”
*****************
Do you equate going after the CFF as pursuing Hillary? I don’t.
I’ll take my senator over trump. You can all serve at the feet of trump if you like, but right now I am not happy with him. He has failed to follow through on a lot of things and his son in law ain’t nothing to write home about either. So, you dump your senator for him and I’ll keep mine. Jeff Sessions is a fine man. I’ll take him over you or trump any day.
Are you telling me that Trump has been screaming in his ear to start one and he’s simply being abstinent?
I hope something is being investigated. Some kind of a statement of acknowledgement might be nice.
And if we can come up with more people like Trump, we can diminish the GOPe.
There should be a trusted organization that they can go to if they are threatened or coerced into doing dirty deeds and steering away from what they are honestly supposed to do. That organization would then expose the corruptors and turn them over to the proper authorities. Or something along those lines.
“...Sessions is a rock ribbed conservative....”
***************************
That’s probably true. But he is proving himself to be a poor and weak-willed executive. He’s allowing the Deep Staters within the Justice Department to set the agenda and give him direction. And THAT is the sad thing.
We need a rock ribbed conservative with brass balls and the courage to move the DOJ in the proper direction. Unfortunately, Jeff Sessions is NOT THAT MAN. President Trump doesn’t need a nice gentleman at DOJ; he needs a courageous LEADER!
Cruz is one of the few real supporters of our republic. He never says the word democracy in regard to this nation.
***********
Cruz is connected to the deep state the same way the Bush’s and Clintons are ,, his father worked at RCA (CIA cover for electronic eavesdropping) handed out flyers with Oswald... and was photographed along the parade route ,, GHWB was photo’d outside the schoolbook depository... good luck draining the swamp with Cruz...
.
You are a totally bizarre kook!
But at least we now know where all the lies and nonsense was coming from: YOU!
.
If he has enough energy to assemble a fantastic, enthusiastic staff then Rudy is the right man for the job. If not, then find the right guy, or gal, soon, very soon. It's a big country.
He is hoping most people don’t know that. Smart people know that Trump could go after Hillary.
Trump has no intention of going after Hillary. He tweets stuff like that because most people are stupid.
I’d like to see Giuliani as AG, but I can only assume Trump had a plan in mind when he dropped that tidbit to the New York Slimes.
Sessions seems like the kind of guy who would feel constrained by his confirmation hearing testimony, where he told the Senate judiciary committee that he would recuse himself from any investigation involving Hillary’s email server or the Clinton foundation. He said he felt his campaign statements about these things would compromise the appearance of objectivity. I suppose he could change his mind about it, but he seems less likely to do that than the President.
