President Donald Trump publicly chastised Attorney General Jeff Sessions again Monday, criticizing him for not seeking an investigation of the president's former campaign opponent.
In a morning tweet, Trump questioned why congressional and intelligence committees and the "beleaguered" Sessions are not probing what he called Hillary Clinton's "crimes and Russia relations."
Last week, Trump criticized Sessions for recusing himself from the investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 election and whether the Trump campaign colluded with the Kremlin. Trump told The New York Times that he would not have appointed Sessions if he had known he would step back from the probe.
Last week, Sessions said he had no plans to leave the job.

So a congressman can arrest and prosecute? Who knew?
Watch Session become a hero to the MSM now. It will be magical. The problem is Trump declared the Clintons to be “good people” and should be left alone. The Rats saw this as weakness and went full out to destroy Trump.
FAT CHANCE....
Option 2: Sessions steps up and fires Rosenstein. Sessions installs Deputy who will focus Mueller and his team or fires his @ss!
Trying. to. get. the. barnacle. to. quit.
“Sessions is a good man”
Really? good for what? Do you mean going after hippies smoking dope?
Sessions really did Trump a disservice by accepting the position. He knew exactly what the President expected and if was less than 100% behind it he never should have taken the job.
He had a great job as a respected Senator and he blew it. Too bad, a lot of people respected him.
“He is dead man waking at this point. Hopefully the next AG is a true pitbull”.
Sessions needs to make up an excuse to resign. Then, when Congress is in recess, the President should make a Recess Appointment and choose a hard assed pit bull. That is the only way to do it, because, unless it is a Loretta Lynch type, the Dems would block it.
As much as I can’t stand Ted Cruz he would be a better choice. Or Trey Gowdy.
I think Trump is just tempering Sessions some. I would find it incredible for there to really be an ongoing problem in their working relationship after just six months.
Me too. I don’t get it. “Lock her up” was a rallying cry of Trump’s campaign. And we’ve got only crickets from Sessions on it.
Sessions is not a wartime consigliere and that is what Trump needs. This mess is war. No ifs ands or butts.
Good points, by now the trails have been purged. Any evidence is probably long gone they weren’t even subtle about it. For instance all the unmasking data was sent to Obongo’s library. No doubt to the incenerator or re-written to exonerate everyone involved. Too bad the rats don’t have an opposition party.
“As much as I cant stand Ted Cruz he would be a better choice. Or Trey Gowdy.”
All part of the swamp. No politicians please. Jay Sekulow would be a great pick.
Jeff’s answer:
“It’s much easier to go after the low-hanging fruit: Pot, and civil asset forfeiture.”
/S
No, I didn’t. Trump said it. You can find it.
Has Sessions done anything but relaunch a failed drug awareness program and ramp up asset forfeiture laws? What a disappointment he’s turned out to be. We’ve got the presidency, the house and the senate, but somehow the dims are still in charge. Crazy!
Sessions is a nice, old, loyal supporter...but he has done NOTHING of significance in SIX MONTHS except RECUSE himself from accountability. Why can’t we get Trey Goudy as AG?
Please tell me one blessed thing Trey Gowdy has accomplished. Bitch about Sessions all you want but to replace him with Gowdy in the hopes of getting anything done but jawboning is bizarre.
He’s not investigating Clinton because all his resources are tied up with his war on pot.

Trey is not the answer, .................. It doesn’t mater, if anyone is appointed to go after the CLINTONS, the Media will turn him into the Republican’s Roland Freisler. (But never compare him to or use the name of Andre Vyshinsky)
