FBI agents seized smashed computer hard drives from the home of Florida Democratic Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s information technology (IT) administrator, according to an individual who was interviewed by Bureau investigators in the case.

THE STORY THUS FAR-—A congressional source confirmed that the FBI has joined the criminal probe by Capitol Police into “serious, potentially illegal, violations on House Democrats’ IT network.”
Imran Awan, three relatives, and two friends, had unlimited access to emails and files as tax-paid employees of more than two dozen House Democrats. Some of the Democrats serve on top intelligence committees that affects the safety and security of Americans.
Imran Awan’s younger brothers, Abid and Jamal, Imran’s wife, Hina Alvi, and Rao Abbas, Imran’s best friend, are also under criminal investigation. Additional evidence of financial schemes that may extend to Pakistan, where Imran, a tax-paid US govt employee, spends significant portions of the year.
The brothers’ are also accused of wiretapping and extorting a family member. Blackmailing of House members to keep them silent has also ben suggested.
Soon after Imran began working for Cong Wasserman Schultz in 2005, his two brothers and two of their wives — plus Rao Abbas and another friend — began appearing as tax-paid IT staffers on the payrolls of House Democrats. Collectively, the Awan group have collected $4 million tax dollars since 2009.
Other Hill IT staffers told investigative reporters that the Awan clan, while cashing astonishingly large US govt paychecks, were frequent no-shows-——often absent from weekly staff meetings and interoffice email exchanges.
One Hill staffer observed that some of the Democrat House members computers managed by the Awans were being used to transfer data to an off-site server.
This gal is super-ambitious. D/W/S actually has a spreadsheet of "people who owe her"....people she did favors for.
D/W/S was especially keen on getting into the good graces of the half-caste Royal Idiot b/c it suited her crass self-serving ambitions.
Strangely enough, on the surface it seemed like the half/caste kept shrugging her off.....as she pursued him w/ a vengeance.
Distilling the info, one concludes, D/W/S was a willing "doer of tasks," but the Royal Idiot had to give the appearance that they were not connected.
The Pakis could not have (A) gotten security clearance, (B) gargantuan salaries, and, (C) gotten visas .....without some pretty high-level help.
The grotesque salaries are also problematic.....could be one way D/W/S and Hill Democrats got paid off for their silence........via campaign contributions, kickbacks, wire-transfers, and the like.
We generally utilize a rifle round when we “smash” hard drive. A 6 pound trigger pull beats a 6 pound hammer for this task.
These will prove to be totally unrelated to any democrat activity. They are there as Trojan horses to waste time. The real drives are smashed and dropped out at sea or melted.

Three brothers who managed office information technology for members of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence and other lawmakers were abruptly relieved of their duties on suspicion that they accessed congressional computers without permission. Brothers Abid, Imran, and Jamal Awan were barred from computer networks at the House of Representatives Thursday, The Daily Caller News Foundation Investigative Group has learned.
Three elected Democrat Housemembers of the intelligence panel and five members of the House Committee on Foreign Affairs were among the dozens of members who employed the suspects on a shared basis. The two committees deal with many of the nation’s most sensitive issues and documents, including those related to the war on terrorism.
Also among those whose computer systems may have been compromised is Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, the Florida Democrat who was previously the target of a disastrous email hack when she served as chairman of the Democratic National Committee during the 2016 campaign.
The brothers are suspected of serious violations, including accessing Democrat members’ computer networks and stealing equipment from Congress.
Jamal handled IT for Rep. Joaquin Castro, a Texas Democrat who serves on both the intelligence and foreign affairs panels. “As of 2/2, his employment with our office has been terminated,” Castro spokeswoman Erin Hatch told TheDCNF Friday.
Jamal also worked for Louisiana Democrat Rep. Cedric Richmond, who is on the Committee on Homeland Security.
Imran worked for Reps. Andre Carson, an Indiana Democrat, and Jackie "Jonestown" Speier, a California Democrat. Both are members of the intelligence committee, and their spokesmen did not respond to TheDCNF’s requests for comment.
Imran also worked for the House office of Wasserman Schultz.
Then-Rep. Tammy Duckworth, an Illinois Democrat, employed Abid for IT work in 2016. She was a member of House committees dealing with the armed services, oversight, and Benghazi. Duckworth was elected to the Senate in November, 2016. Abid has a prior criminal record and a bankruptcy.
Abid also worked for Rep. Lois Frankel, a Florida Democrat who is member of the foreign affairs committee.
The three men are “shared employees,” meaning they are hired by multiple offices, which split their salaries and use them as needed for IT services. It is up to each member to fire them.
Buzzfeed reported that the Capitol Hill Sergeant-at-Arms told staff that the subjects were four men and one woman. Buzzfeed quoted one of the affected elected Democrat members as saying “they said it was some sort of procurement scam, but now I’m concerned that they may have stolen data from us, emails, who knows.”
Jamal did not return a request for comment from TheDCNF at a personal email address, while emails to House addresses in the three men’s names bounced back Friday.

The office of Andre Carson, the second Muslim in Congress, employed IT’er Imran Awan (one of the Pakistani clan under Capitol Hill Police investigation for assorted crimes). As did the offices of Jackie Speier and Cong Debbie Wasserman Schultz (then DNC Chair).

Back in the mid-90s, an IT guy demonstrated for me a device that displayed in a monitor the info from a hard drive platter while the platter wasn’t moving.
The video below is an interview with Luke Rosiak and Dana Loesch in which Luke says that Wasserman Schultz invoked the “speech and debate” clause to prevent her computer (the one seized from her office)from being probed by the police. Later DWS said she would negotiate...
