Scaramucci: Trump still doesn't accept intelligence conclusion on Russia (Video)
CNN ^ | 12:15 PM ET, Sun July 23, 2017 | Eli Watkins

Newly minted White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci said on CNN's "State of the Union" Sunday that President Donald Trump still does not accept the intelligence community's conclusion that Russia attempted to influence the 2016 election.

"He basically said to me, 'Hey you know, this is, maybe they did it, maybe they didn't do it,'" Scaramucci said of a recent conversation he'd had with the President about alleged Russian interference.

Prior to Trump's inauguration, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence released an unclassified report showing the CIA, FBI and National Security Agency all concluded the Russian government attempted to influence the election to hurt Hillary Clinton and help Trump.

Scaramucci suggested Trump does not yet accept the conclusion of the intelligence community and questioned the media's pursuit of the story ,saying it tarnished Trump's victory in November.

"The mainstream media position on this, that they interfered in the election," Scaramucci said. "It actually in his mind, what are you guys suggesting? You're going to delegitimize his victory?"

Scaramucci said he intended to review the intelligence community's evidence once he had his security clearance and pledged to give Trump his personal thoughts on the conclusions. He said Trump would make up his own mind in time and that if Trump believed Russia was responsible for the 2016 efforts and a threat to future elections, he would act.

"A person that's going to be super, super tough on Russia is President Donald J. Trump," Scaramucci said.

Unless there is irrefutable evidence, STFU.

Well, he shouldn’t. I’m sure any non-agendanista intelligence analyst would look at the raw data and say “are you friggin’ me...there’s nothing here!”.

It’s not the entire intelligence community, it’s the heads of those agencies who think that. They just do to us what we do to them. Ask anyone in the intelligence community if they might need to see the hard drive on the DNC computer first. Also ask them what they think about the guys handling the server for the congressional Dems who have just disappeared.

I'm more concerned with the early voting, the non-citizens voting, the 20,000 votes turning up in Hillary's favor etc etc

Trump didn't get a single vote via Russia.

Hillary's just a bad loser.

Trump is entitled to examine the hard evidence behind any conclusion and form his own opinion. In a highly political matter like this, he would be well advised to inspect the underlying evidence.

We know ABSOLUTELY that Clapper and Brennan both lied before Congress previously before Congress and that Comey comes to conclusions based on his “feelings”. They’re a bunch of self-serving dishonest brokers.

I have yet to see any evidence.

All we have is a supposed report by a shady company, Crowdstrike, with a sketchy record, run by a Putin hating Russian, hired by the DNC that blames Russia for "hacking".

Screaming "Russia! Collusion! Treason! on every msm outlet allows them to redirect the focus from the veracity of the emails which show corruption and duplicity of the candidate and the party at the highest level.

The FBI was denied access to the DNC servers and took Crowdstrike at it's word.

The original 17 intelligence agencies that supposedly agreed with the "Russian Collusion" narrative turn out to be only 4 and they based their assessment on one report by a handful of analysts that relied primarily on the FBI and Crowdstrike reports.

They are treating this RussiaRussiaRussia like Gore-Bull Warming, you MUST believe it.

Without any demonstrable evidence they expect complete adherence to the narrative.

Yeah, definitely don't forget the Awan brothers and Wikileaks Vault 7 releases.

Supposedly the CIA can hack anything and make it look like someone else did it.

What exactly did the Russians do that we cannot throw reasonable doubt at?

DNC hack - possibly Seth Rich and DNC did not hand over server for analysis, so we have to take their word for it.n sounds like a solid plan

The automatic answer should be “how would they know? The DNC STILL hasn’t let anyone other than Fusion GPS look at their servers”.

Isn’t it puzzling that “meddling” is not found in any Federal statute ?

Trump is very correct.

All I hear from the dingbats in the media and the reported “intel community” is that Russia meddled in the US election to help Trump.

I never hear how, when, what, where, and why it was effective in getting Trump elected. Nope, not a dang thing from the stupid media or any other dingbat, but I see evidence on the contrary.

I’m still waiting. ... and it ain’t coming.

No explanations, not even plausible, to support their stupid assertions and statements.
