To take the baby and make a run for it, would be a very complex affair, because of all the machines that he is now connected with and dependent on. The child would need to be somehow prepared for the changes. That takes time. It would be extremely risky, even if they somehow got him out of the building.
These are loving parents, but they are not Nurses or Physician Assistants, ready to monitor blood pressure, respiration and temperature. Not to mention there would be a swarm of police coming after them, with yellow siren lights swirling as though they were chasing ISIS. Heliocopters too.
They are British Subjects, not citizens like you and me.
