I agree. She is being honest and realistic. I would vote for her if I could. She impressed me during the primary.

He should retire.

He should fight his battle, but if he goes the cutting, poison, and nuking route, he will be dead within the year.

If he goes for alternative treatments, he may beat the cancer. At any rate, he won’t be worse off.

He should retire and enjoy his remaining days with his family, sleeping in late, and whatever he wants to do.

Medically, There’s no fighting left for him to do. He has about 3 months without treatment and a year plus a few months with treatment.

At his age, forget fighting and enjoy living.

He wants to name his successor on his death bed, the last dying gasp of breath will be to name his successor, and the media will play up his demise and last words so much that the governor will have to call it chocolate pudding and eat it. Selfishness pays, so long as it’s theatrical.
