WASHINGTON Sean Spicer, the White House press secretary, resigned on Friday morning, telling President Trump he vehemently disagreed with the appointment of the New York financier Anthony Scaramucci as communications director.

Maybe he’ll give the Robert Dinero “baseball” chat during the next press briefing ... “Baseball is about teamwork - and loyalty” ... BANG!)
"On January 12, 2017, President Donald Trump announced his intent to appoint Scaramucci Director of the White House Office of Public Liaison and Intergovernmental Affairs.[4] Scaramucci's swearing-in was reportedly delayed by an extended review of his finances by the Office of Government Ethics,[5][6] although the ethics office denied that clearance was necessary before making White House appointments.[7] Ultimately, George Sifakis was appointed instead."
"On June 26, 2017, three network investigative journalists; Thomas Frank, Eric Lichtblau, and Lex Haris, resigned from CNN over a retracted Trump-Russia story that connected Scaramucci to a $10 billion Russian investment fund. The network apologized to Scaramucci and stated the online story did not meet their editorial standards. Scaramucci said the original story was not true, and accepted CNN's apology."
"According to Politico, on January 31, 2017, with his appointment still pending approval by the United States Office of Government Ethics (OGE), Trump's chief of staff Reince Priebus called Scaramucci "to tell him he should pull out of consideration". They reported that Priebus opposed Scaramucci's appointment because Scaramucci had a direct relationship with Trump"
What exactly does Scaramucci bring to the job? Based on what I can see of his resume he’s never been a communications person of any kind at any level. Why him, why now?
Spicer was a supporter of the president, so far as I could tell.
I never have thought he was very good in front of the camera.
I suppose I’d say he is about a B- or a C+ press secretary.
That’s not great praise, but it isn’t failing either.
See my post # 35.
Whatever - but it was an unnecessary whack at a hornets nest.
He’ll be on morning Joe and they’re going to love him. We’re about to see where his loyalties really are.
Yes, apparently Trump thinks that it's time for hard ball.
So this is good news.
“according to person with direct knowledge of the exchange. “
Who the hell would that be?

Oh it’s that guy Mr Anonymous. He is the single most “in” guy in the history of DC and maybe the world. Mr Anonymous has been at every single WH briefing and secret meetings including Intel Committees.
There is NOTHING Anonymous doesn’t know....nothing.
Plus this week's resignation of Trump's personal lawyer, Marc Kasowitz, and that legal team's spokesperson, Mark Corallo.
Maybe it all equates to nothing or not much. But it certainly doesn't look good.
Yet he lets numerous hostile officials stay in place. Scaramucci is very defensive of Dana Powell.
More recently for me is expanding/being more aggressive with civil asset forfeiture. Too many abuses in that program. Needs to be killed.
I liked Sean, not thinking this is a shade like Sessions.
Trump just moved his knight, that’s all.
Trump is running a program we will never understand until he reveals it is through a series of brilliant moves.
What I want is for Trump to strike at the heart until the creatures are all dead.
Spicer was heard to scream out at Trump: “Thunderbolts and lightning - very, very frightening, me!”
Me resign, oh! (he resigned, no!)
Me resign, oh! (he resigned, no!)
Me resign, yo POTUS, lo ...
Magnifico! Oh, oh, oh! Go, go, go, go GO!
He was very forgiving when asked about CNN pushing that slander and said “we all make mistakes” blah blah. I saw that interview and I didn’t like it.
My blacker angels think asset forfeiture would be great for vaporizing the Deep State, short-run, but I totally oppose it. Of all the things for Jeff to drag out, just when DJT was softening some libertarians and dems up to him.
“Little Jimmy Pee Pee Pants Acosta.”
Lol!! Too freaking funny!!
And he sends itt al to the NY TIMES and the Washington Post.
That was my immediate reaction too.
