The second is that those two aren't and never have been Senators.
I know the senate was suppose to be the equivalent of the House of Lords, providing balance and stability to the possibility of a hot-headed House of Representatives but they have taken it too far and turned it into a aristocracy where it is us against the commoners.
This has lead to a system where you automatically follow the advise of your class rather then stopping to think that maybe they are steering you wrong.
I don't hate Sessions, I even like the guy. But this is not a game and we are not playing with gentlemen.
The United States is a Union of States. The Senate is supposed to represent the States and their interests. It is embarrassing that a FReeper thinks of the House of Lords at all.
