The Mayo Clinic said this type of cancer is rare with less than 200,000 cases diagnosed each year.
Had a friend in high school in the mid ‘80s with a less aggresive version of this same diagnosis. He’d get numbness in his arms, random vomitting spells, and black out for a few seconds without warning. Was in the car he was driving when he blacked out for the first time, we did a 360 in the middle of the road. Neither of us was injured and amazingly we didn’t strike anything. That evening his father took him to the doctor where they learned what was causing the symptoms. He had to go through several surgeries, chemo, radiation, and rehabilitation to learn how to walk and talk again. His hearing was gone, his balance, and he struggled with some speaking and motion.
It’s a horrible diagnosis and I wish John McCain the very best in fighting it. He REALLY needs to focus on fighting it.
I pray for McCain’s health but he is likely fighting a losing battle. The sad thing is that, when he looks back on his careers, WHAT POSITIVE THINGS HAS HE REALLY ACCOMPLISHED? I know him most for his cheap shots at and backstabbing of far better men. He’s led a (professional) life of bitterness and anger — and nothing more.
He is not Teddy Kennedy or Jimmuh Carter. He is not Helen Thomas. So I will not mock his last days. Neither should anyone else. He almost became POTUS, for that let us be thankful. He would have been better than you-know-who, which isn’t saying much. He made Sara Palin famous, anyway. There. I said something nice about him.
My sister was diagnosed with a glioblastoma back in 2004 and she eventually died from it the Sunday before Thanksgiving in 2005. She went way before her time...
John, I’ll pray for you to recover, but I still think you are a jerk...
Wow, he’s finished. Read this.....
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glioblastoma
“Despite maximum treatment, the cancer usually recurs.[3] The most common length of survival following diagnosis is 12 to 15 months, with fewer than 3% to 5% of people surviving longer than five years.”
McCain should get on his knees and pray for forgiveness for being a traitor, a liar, and a thief. Maybe, just maybe, that tumor won’t be roasted in the fiery Hell to which it is currently headed.
My wife’s Mom died of this crap. We watched the poor lady waste away to nothing before thankfully God took her. She suffered like a dog. I DON”T like McScream one stinking bit, but I would not wish this on anyone!! Some of you folks need to get yourselves in front of a mirror and be thankful that you are not in his boat. You might get what you are making comments about.
This story is FULL of FAKE news.
It starts out as an eyebrow blood clot removal and ends up as brain surgery for a malignant brain tumor with tentacles!
4% survival rate after 5 years = bend over and kiss your A$$ goodbye.
I hate to see anyone get brain cancer, but if someone has to get it ......
Praying for a retirement announcement soon. Also prayers for him. I wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy, not even John McCain.
I have nothing to say.
I never liked the man's politics, but I wouldn't wish this on anyone.
Further evidence that liberalism is a cancer.
If it’s a grade 4 GBM then he won’t last long. He needs to go to the Duke Brain Tumor center and get in their trial for the polio treatment they’ve been doing.
I hear this is one of the quickest, most painful ways to go.
THREE CHEERS FOR A PAINFUL DEATH FOR JOHN MCCAIN!
