And so the questions just grow more intense. There is still no evidence that Noor is a jihadi or that this was a jihad attack. But this does seem to be yet another manifestation of the fear of “Islamophobia” charges resulting in a Muslim being placed in a position for which he was not qualified and was able to do harm to others. The quintessential example of this phenomenon is Major Nidal Malik Hasan, the Fort Hood jihad mass murderer.
With three complaints against him in two years, Mohamed Noor seems at very least to be dangerously reckless and/or incompetent. It is likely that Minneapolis officials were so anxious to have a Somali Muslim police officer they could showcase that they put Mohamed Noor on the force and kept him there when his obvious shortcomings would have had a non-Muslim officer fired or not hired in the first place.

Getting weirder by the minute. If this guy was a Muslim terrorist, I’d have expected him to also shoot his partner in the car along with some other innocent bystanders. I’m leaning more toward “he’s crazy” or “he’s completely incompetent and should never have been issued a badge”.

Charge the Muslim SOB with murder,, then see if he “refuses” to be interviewed...hell just put his idiot ass on a boat back from whence he came!
Happens in a lot of police forces. There are more qualified men and women who are older, white, Christian etc, but H.R. would rather hire life inexperienced , and minority folks.
Probably an unfair headline. No officer involved in a shooting, right or wrong, would talk.

I know plenty in the 3 police forces in my county who should not be cops, and those who went to an academy, and then never got a job. The problem is that H.R. are all women who have left college, and have never done a day in a police car, and have no knowledge of the real outside world.
My guess is he pulled his gun to be ready and fired by mistake. I’ve read both one shot fired and multiple fired quickly, but either could happen with a scared incompetent. Too many guns now have too easy a trigger pull. And of course, is someone is STUPID enough, no trigger pull is stiff enough to prevent the triumph of stupidity!

Perhaps the muslim officer felt she had insulted Islam...
1. Convert you to their faith by terror or force if necessary.
2. If you refuse to convert then to enslave you
3. If you resist enslavement then to kill you.
Those 3 choices are only for Jews and Christians. If you have any other faith or no faith then they are commanded to just kill you.
It is not irrational to fear that.
Any lawyer worth their salt tells you not to talk to the police. Especially true in a situation like this.
The union protecting the rights of the accused are these United States.
